Dragon Buffet Restaurant

Personally, I liked the food. It wasn't bad. Really depends on how you make your plate of food. I liked the fish and steamed veggies. And, it worked for me since I had a hard time eating Mexican food everyday. As for the price, (from my view) it was cheap for a buffet. The place is worth trying if you are in town and/or want a simple fare of Chinese food.

So we must have come at a good time because the food was good and the service was excellent. They're constantly coming by and removing the plates from the table, which I thought was very thoughtful of them. So why the 3 stars? The Bathrooms. Horrible, smelly, dirty. I don't know if it's a culture thing or what, but I've never been to a Chinese buffet bathroom that was clean and comfortable to use, and believe me, I've been to MANY Chinese buffets. Anyway, we left and went shopping at the Marshall's in that shopping center and when I went to use their bathroom, it was super clean and comfortable to use. So I just dropped my load there with them. Thank you Marshall's! 😁 😂

I really didn't want to leave this review, but I haven't been able to get the experience off of my mind. I went to the buffet with my grandma because she loved the Chinese buffet that used to be here. We took Gera's bus and got to the Dragon Buffet. We were very hungry because my grandma has Parkinson's and she can't make her own food anymore. And I'm just too lazy to make her food. Anyway, my grandma usually LOVES buffets and gets many plates, but this time, she couldn't find anything she liked. The food was just too greasy and everything was just sad. The food looked old and tastes suspicious. The salad was just lettuce with 2 cucumbers and 1 tomato slice. My grandma's favorite item was the tapioca pudding because she couldn't stomach anything else. My grandmother said this was the worst food she had ever eaten. I'm just glad the oysters didn't give me food poisoning. The best part of the trip was that they were playing La Rosa de Guadalupe on the television at the restaurant. I love that show. The iced tea was also pretty good. I'm just glad they didn't ask for a tip because that would've been offensive. I'm not trying to be mean, but if you do end up going, maybe try going earlier in the day. We feel we got the leftover of the leftovers of the leftovers since we went for dinner. I also have bipolar disorder and think the disappointment I felt when I left the restaurant triggered a depressive episode. I hope others had a better experience than we did.
