Absolutely love this place. Had them when they first opened on McCorkle and waited ever so patiently until they opened back up in their new location. Such a better location, mostly due to size. Very friendly people working for them and the owner is always there, ringing out guests and generally making sure everyone is happy. The food is outstanding. Never had a bad dish here and I've went probably a dozen times.
Second time eating here. Nice and quaint establishment. Has more of a lunch feel rather than evening restaurant. The food was good, service was fast, and people were nice. If you like your salsa on the spicy side you like theirs!
Today was our first time eating here. The place was nice and clean. Service was good and the waiters were friendly. Food was delicious. I got the big boss burrito which was huge and delicious!! My husband got the steak fajita nachos and he loved them. I'd go again.
An absolute flavor explosion. I love this place. The El Hefe is amazing. And the hibiscus drink is great.
Amazing place! I loved it! I had a burrito called el jefe and even though I couldn't finish this generously sized plate, there is no way I was leaving it behind. Come for the great food, stay for the great atmosphere and everything else that come with this absolute gem of a restaurant! 6 stars!
Cali Taco is certainly on our top revisit list!! Last night we ordered through Door Dash and their site went down. I called the restaurant to determine if they received our order and whether or not the driver had picked up our food. They did receive our order and the driver had not picked up the order. With the site being down we figured there was no chance of the Door Dash driver even knowing our food was there. Cali Taco went above and beyond by hand delivering our food to the hotel we were staying at. The gentleman was very friendly, made sure we were satisfied and professional. The food was great! We will definitely try them again when in the area!
