Love love love Big Axe. Always a stop on our way biking up to/through Nisswa. Great beer, awesome food, friendly people. Patio is dog friendly (complete with water bowls). Their beer cheese soup is the bomb, and their milkshake IPAs are delicious. No stop in Nisswa is complete without a visit to Big Axe.
Great place and food! The new Octoberfest brew is excellent!! Definitely would recommend
Tina makes the best food and gives the best service! We will be back :)

We were in for lunch last Sunday. Had one of my top 5 Rubens of all time!! Sweet potato fries were very tasty as well. The Root Beer and Cream Soda were both yummy. Good food and great service! Who can ask for more?
Good place beer was good breakfast great too. With my Dad. Uncle and my bro Friday morning. Place before cabin time was good .

Great tasting beer! Had the Peanut Butter Stout and Habanero Beer. Chef Tina came thru with a few pieces of bacon after she closed the kitchen. Would love to have this be an official stop on a new bike ride I’m bringing to the area.
This brewery has an absolutely wonderful selection to choose from. The two people at the desk working were very knowledgeable about the brews and educated me on past brews that they had done. I got the sour peach cobbler. It is so delicious! And I think this is a seasonal which is such a bummer but that's okay, it only makes room for other options. Naturally I had to get some to bring back home. I highly recommend this place. It is cozy inside but they have a very nice deck and bonfire pit with s'mores. It is definitely worth the stop and they have a wonderful friendly staff.
Great spot with good beer! Only down fall is it's a fairly small space, and it was very busy Saturday night. Good problem to have, but made for an awkward bit until a table freed up to enjoy our beer. Stouts were great!
Nice place, good beer, nice outdoor seating, and friendly atmosphere. Food is excellent. I recommend the blood warrior and splinter cat IPAs.
Good beer! The brisket sandwich was delicious, but charging $3.00 extra for mediocre fries is a thumbs down. When will restaurants learn that they need to season their fries immediately out of the frier?!
