Handel's Ice Cream

I came here to visit family and was not anticipating the cold weather. I’m from Cali so this weather is super foreign to me but I really wanted some ice cream so a relative’s friend recommend we try Handel’s… super delicious and creamy. I got a banana split and the portion they give you is huge. I was struggling to finish it all, it’s now the next day and I wish I still had more ☹️ the girl that took my order was so nice and gave my little nephew an extra scoop of ice cream. Wish there was a Handel’s in LA!

I stopped by the Niles store to get some ice cream after a stressful day at work. I walked up to the window and 2 employees made eye contact with me then continued to ignore me (and 2 other customers that had pulled up) as i stood at the window for 10 minutes. They then turned off all the lights and locked the windows right in front of us and it wasn’t even 9:00. This is the 3rd time in the past week i’ve been to this store well before 10 and they were closed. I’ve worked in the food industry for years and i find it was extremely unprofessional and flat out rude for the employees to ignore customers and lock the windows/turn off the lights in front them.
