Review Sonny's Bbq - Nicholasville

Stopped at Sonny’s tonight for some BBQ with the family. I had the whole hog sandwich combo (comes with sliced pork, pulled pork, and slices of their jalapeño cheddar sausage links on a bun or garlic toast, one side item, and a drink), my wife had the smoked turkey dinner (came with sliced smoked turkey breast, and 2 sides), and my daughter had the Cuban sandwich combo meal (comes with pork, pickles, cheese, and sauce on pressed toasted bread, one side item, and a drink). Everyone loved their food and found it to be hot and fresh with the exception of the turkey being a little on the dry side. The service was excellent and the restaurant was clean. We will definitely be back soon.

This was our first visit to this Sonny's in Nicholasville, Kentucky in December 2021, but we are long time fans of Sonny's. The dry rub ribs were tremendous and the service was excellent. The turkey was not quite up to Sonny's par, but it was OK and the rest of the food made up for it.

The food was amazing and fresh. Absolutely loved the Mac and cheese and loaded tots. All the waiters we're so nice.

Really enjoyed our first trip to Sonny's. Need to go back and try more food.

Went through this Sonny’s a couple of weeks ago. I had an issue with my Sandwich. I commented to the Company website. Within a day, I got two calls from this Restaurant (I assume Mgrs) telling me they were sorry and they dropped the ball. I highly recommend eating at this Sonny’s. They took full responsibility and went way above and beyond in how they fixed my issue. I guarantee, if I lived in that area I would be a regular. I have always loved Sonny’s BBQ but this is how you keep business.

Great food and fast service for a Drive Thru given the type of food served!

Always a great meal here. If you’re sharing plates of ribs or pork you can get them without seasoning or dry- which lets people pick their sauces if you’re taking it to go too. Never had a bad meal here!
