Review European Delight Bakery - Nicholasville

AmaZing baked goods here. We got croissants, cinnamon rolls, peanut butter cake, coconut cake and cookies. All were melt in your mouth delicious and just the rig HR amount of sweetness. Not overly sugary. They also have coffee drinks.

Well, this is only my second visit here. Both visits did not disappoint. The date and pecan scone was a delight😋The staff are efficient and cordial. The bathrooms are pleasantly clean. The atmosphere is relaxed yet quiet. European Delights is a gem. A taste of Europe here in Kentucky. Oh, by the way; their pastries, cakes and delightful muffins(with enticing flavors), are very impressive as well. I'll be back.

Hands down one of my favorite dessert places in the whole USA!! Amazing delicacies!! You can taste a little part of Europe in every bite. I have all good things to say about this place. Best Customer service - They are always polite and sweet, the cleanest store with the most amazing ambiance and vibes.

As an out of towner I have to say this place is simply amazing. The pastries were all so good looking they seemed fake! I can assure you there was nothing fake about how delightful they were. This is a top destination anytime I'm back in KY.

Visiting my niece in Wilmore, so we had to visit. Best place. The pastries were fantastic. The place was clean and very inviting.

Absolutely delicious! This place was outstanding. The food was perfect!

The overall stay was excellent! Our junior suite was clean and fresh. The bed and pillows was super comfy! They had the biggest mini fridge I have ever had at a hotel. The staff was delightful and helpful. If we come back to Lexington we will be staying here again.

Definitely European! and delicious!!. I am from Europe, so I can say that this is definitely a real European Bakery. Sure the selection isn't as big and there are some seasonal American products (like Pumpkin pies, rolls ext. for Thanksgiving), but the pastries and cakes sure are up to European standards. You can tell that everything is fresh, baked that same morning. The customer service is great, and the cafe is a nice little place to come enjoy a cup of coffee and delicious European pastries! Every time I am in Lexington, I make sure to stop by!

+ Something different for dessert (not your typical fare)<br/>- I've had cake (slice) from here that was too dry. It makes me apprehensive about eating here.

You will Love these Pastries and Cakes. Our favorite place for dessert! If we are out to dinner on a Friday/Saturday and in South Lexington we skip dessert at the restaurant and pick it up here and maybe even sneak them into a movie at the Brannon Crossing theater. Cakes and pastries are phenomenal. There is this cute, little mound of deliciousness called Mont Blanc: It's magic. I have attempted to imagine how it is made and have concluded it can only be done with some sort of divine, mystical intervention. And of course it tastes as good as it looks. OK, so I am talking it up a little too much and people read this, go there and be like "meh". But honestly these are really good pastries and cakes. It is not a sandwich shop. It is not a Bread bakery or a Doughnut shop. There are plenty of those in Lexington. These are pastries designed and created by a pastry artist and we love them just the way they are. Support this store and bring your friends because I am selfish don't want my Mont Blancs to disappear!

Yuuuuuum! Oh my goodness. This place is absolutely wonderful. I've tried everything over the course of a year and has never been disappointed.

If you're expecting.... ...run of the mill, overly sugared pastries and desserts, this isn't the place. Sure, there are a few items, particularly a few of the cakes, that pack in the sweets, but the secret's in the name - EUROPEAN Delights. Anyone who has been to almost anywhere in Europe knows that they (much like many other parts of the world) don't make desserts as sweet as what some Americans are used to. <br/><br/>They have delicious, delicious items. Their peanut butter cookie is the best around, and we love their cake so much, my wife and I had them do our wedding and groom's cakes. <br/><br/>The staff is pretty friendly and are quite attentive. Zero problems in that department, too.<br/><br/>We highly recommend this place. It's the only place in the area that we can go to when we want want to reminisce about our honeymoon to Italy!

Fantastic!. Stopped by here after talking myself out of stopping several times before. Was hoping I would not be disapointed by limited selection or rather stale selection. Was wonderfully surprised! Everything looked great! Tried the Black Forest cake and the Chocolate Orange cake and both were Heavenly! Best Black Forest I've had in years! Have also tried their Danish which were excellent too. So happy to have a really good bakery here in Lexington. Two suggestions-they need more lunch type items to go with the deserts and perhaps a few types of good crusty bread. Loved the fact they are making seasonal items. Will def have to check them out at Christmas!

Picked up some breakfast pastries this morning. They wer good, not great. Biscotti was waxy. Chocolate was cheap tasting. I'll try it Again. Their only saving grace will be the cannoli. If it is good I will be back.

Best cake in town by far. The people are kind and the Princess Cake is to die for and so well priced. We get all our cakes from here.

Great desserts!. We have enjoyed treats from this place on several occasions, and it is a delight every time. My favorites are the raspberry rugelach, but everything is great! I wish I could go there every day.

I ordered the tiramisu for an engagement party for friends, it was the most gorgeous tiramisu I've ever seen and not only was it very beautiful, it tasted great. You can really tell that someone spent a lot of time and effort in making sure that everything looked and tasted perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone! Oh and the bakery is sparkly clean which always makes you feel better too :)

Outstanding! The Chocolate Mousse Cake is worth the drive from anywhere!

SO GOOD!!!!. This one of the best things to happen to Lexington! Their pastry creams are so wonderful and delicious and I can't begin to tell you how incredible their almond horns are! Go...now!
