Fried clam strips, calamari and chicken tenders with fries. Typical summer seafood. The portions are HUGE and we brought half home. Too much batter on the fried food though
Enough outdoor and indoor seating with plenty of parking
First time eating at Dad's. CASH ONLY so be prepared. They do have an ATM onsite if you need it. Have friends that would go and loved it. Got a whole belly clam roll, grilled chicken sandwich and order of clam strips. All were excellent, lightly fried clams, nice taste with the whole bellies. The strips were huge! Actually knew you were eating clam. These weren't little strips you could barely taste. Chicken sandwich was juicy and tasted very good. Picnic tables set up inside as well as outside.
This is the way fried fish and seafood should be! With so many crispy and delicious items, it's hard to pick just one!
Standard seafood fare. The lobster roll sandwich seem a little small for the price, but it tasted fantastic. Service was excellent and fast. The entire resturant was very clean and open air. The view is also quit nice and you get to watch the Amtrak pass by. Recommend you at least check it out.
Great restaurant with a water view. Clam chowder is the best! Usually I get the fried shrimp but the batter is different this season and not very good. Regardless, still highly recommended, even if I just ate 3 bowls of chowder for dinner!
The clam chowder here is absolutely amazing! As is a lot of other food items too! The wait staff was friendly, quick, and very efficient! Love this place! Any day of the week while I'm traveling about in Niantic! Great location, too! Thanks folks, keep up the good work! 🙂✌️👍
Hasn't changed in 35 years! I remember coming here as a kid and loving to "feed the animals" aka the garbage cans. I remembered the indoor picnic tables too. This is a grab and go casual restaurant, you order at a window, they make it then call your number. It's like an indoor picnic. The clam chowder was thick and creamy, coconut shrimp tasted, great milkshakes and juicy hamburger. The outside deck and patio are nice when the weather cooperates.
Great tasting food but nothing out of the ordinary. Clean place. Nice outdoor view. Great customer service.
excellent food, large portions...unfortunately out of soft serve and cherry dip, not really their fault i guess.. ( probably because busy Saturday)

Food was great. Service was amazing. Absolutely loved the view. Can't say ebought about this place. Highly recommend and if we're ever in the area again will definitely be stopping in here. You won't regret it.
A bit of a tough handicapped entrance, but we were outside facing the Sound. Food was good and plentiful and our servers, Sarah was excellent.
Fried food paradise. Seat yourself. There is large variety of fried food but since they're so close to the shore definitely go for any type of seafood including clams whole belly clams Cod and they really have good french fries as well.
