Dragon's Chinese Restaurant

The food was good but not great. Needs improvement specifically items quoted hot. Quality and quantity was not ideal for the price. Also was error in price for 1 item. Needless to say a service charge is ridiculous if your pay by credit card. I recommend that you check your receipts before you leave.

Been going to this restaurant for over 20 yrs. Food quality is usually good. However adding a surcharge for credit cards is ridiculous on top of very high prices. My card is a debit so they get their $$ immediately. If you just factor it into your price nobody knows the difference. And then I ask for extra sauce for scallion pancakes and they have the nerve to charge me for it. Rethinking my loyalty to this place. Don't take advantage of people that patronize you and keep you in business.

Sorry for the one star but I expected much better from this Restaurant. The food I ordered was not good at all, I ordered 5 fried chicken wings expecting 5 complete fried wings like I always got from a Chinese restaurant, instead I received 5 pieces of over cooked cold batter fried chicken wing parts. The House Special Wonton Soup was terrible it had soggy over cooked wonton noodles in it, the fried dumplings tasted like someone put too much salt in it.

If I could give Dragon of Newtown 10 stars, I would! My wife and I agree that this is our favorite restaurant that we've found since we moved to PA four years ago. The food is so good, and the service is always excellent. Our favorite dish is the chicken with tender ginger. It's a bit of a long drive from our house, but it's always worth the trek!
