Cool, secret back alley coffee shop with good drinks. The parking situation is weird here, you go back down an ally and there’s only 5 min parking spots. The inside of the shop is very cool and two stories tall with lots of seating and cozy reading nooks. The coffee is pretty good and the staff is very friendly. I have not tried it but they do breakfast and lunch here and it looks like a good menu. Overall it’s a neat coffee shop and I’d recommend it.

Cute little place! Lots of nice coffee, tea and food options. The lemon blueberry muffin was yummy, the chai latte with oat milk was phenomenal, but the avocado toast was a mushy avocado sandwich. Overall though, pretty good, decent prices, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. I think there was an upstairs that one could go to.

The Chicken and Curry Burrito is fantastic. Very diverse selection of foods, deserts, coffees, teas, etc. This place has a soothing atmosphere and great WiFi. The perfect place for small gatherings and meeting with friends.

Great service, nice array of options vegan friendly and gluten free food. Parking is a bit limited in the center, best bet is the street behind. And it’s a bit tucked in, next to the bank. Cute upper level for working and hanging out, comfy vibe.

We LOVE L’Aroma! Since recently moving to Waltham from Maryland, my significant other and I have been coming here almost every weekend. Cafes are my absolute favorite and this is the best one we’ve found in the area so far. I’m an Iced Coffee addict and theirs is wonderful (I always add the hand melted chocolate for a nice treat - would definitely recommend). The sandwiches are great and come with a pickle and chips, we’ve gotten the blueberry muffin a few times too they are fantastic.
Protip: call ahead when placing an order if you want to avoid waiting a few minutes for sandwiches to be made, all of their stuff is freshly made with love

Good quality coffee--the owner really knows his espresso--and great baked goods too. Lunch fare is also high quality.
Update: founder has been out of the country for over a year and management of the cafe hasn't been as great since. They closed off the quiet room on the second floor so you can't really work at the cafe anymore. Also, the espresso tastes burnt to me now; not sure if it's just always been that way and my tastes have changed but I can't drink it anymore. Drip coffee and food are still good, but I visit less often.
