Great burritos. Very fresh ingredients. The burritos come with some chips. There's a salsa bar with a variety of sala to choose from. Clean place. But slow service.
Quick service. I ordered the bowl and it was delicious, filling, and more than I could eat.
I could not say enough wonderful things about La Salsa.
When the La Salsa location in my area closed last year, my entire family was DEVASTATED. I wish I had a magic wand and could turn all the dime-a-dozen Chipotle locations out there into La Salsas. I don't understand why there aren't more of them when the food is such superior quality and has been for decades.
That being said, I discovered this Newport Beach location, and though it is about 1.5 hours away, once in a while I now make the drive to get there. The food is HOT, DELICIOUS, FRESH, and FULL OF FLAVOR! The people who work there do a great job of making your feel welcome, cooking the food perfectly and made to order, and keeping the restaurant clean and nice.
If you're in the Newport Beach or Orange County area, do yourself a favor and next time you want a burrito - GO HERE :)
The quality of the food is excellent and the prices are fair. We preferred to eat at La Salsa over Rubio's or even Baja Fresh, when there were more of their franchises around. I just discovered this location and couldn't be happier that there are still La Salsas around here. I stop by the one in Santa Barbara every time we head that way.
I ate an enormous burrito here with steak and habanero cheese. The flavor was excellent, the salsa bar which was complimentary did fantastic to add to the meal. The streak was thick cut and tender and flavorful. I really enjoyed it and would definitely come back.
I'm writing this place because I've met my wife here for lunch a few times as it's right by her Law Firm, and for a chain it is pretty darn good. Fresh menu items cooked to order at a decent price. Good salsa bar as well!
Pretty standard Fast-Mex food. It's convenient if you work in the area as you can order and pay online fifteen minutes before you want your food. Good sized lunch portions, the fajitas and tacos are my favorite menu items. The best part is the large sales bar, with all different spice levels and flavor profiles.
LOVE the Chile Lime Salad! So fresh and zesty! The ladies there are so friendly and helpful! We drive all the way from Riverside to eat at this location. My husband loves the chicken 3 pepper fajitas!
Different take on Mexican food
10 years ago La Salsa was the only Mexican chain we used to visit. But there stopped in Irvine and so we switched to the other two chains, Rubios and Baja Fresh. Last week we travelled far just to try out La Salsa. The food tasted different... Maybe we forgot how it tasted or maybe we are comparing with other two...
I stopped here for lunch while traveling and was surprised by the quality of food! The selection was good and I loved the choices of salsas! Service was good and it was a nice clean place. Would come again!
