Gorgeous gourmet market with lots to see and buy including pre-made and seasoned items. Their meat dept is second to none. Beautiful organized. Lots of flowers, too.

Evelyn (sp) one of the managers. Is great. Your staff in the deli is asleep at the wheel. Needs training they wear dirty gloves handle everything they touch and slice the meat. Then you request thinly sliced and it’s too thick. They are a burned out crew I get it.

I'll tell you what this is. One of the nicest markets I've ever been in not super big like a supermarket. But what a great selection of goodies, super friendly staff also.

Clean, well stocked store. New home items at entrance are nice. Guy at fish counter was available, friendly and helpful. Check out gal was friendly and interactive. I like that employees have been there a while, it’s good to see familiar faces and be recognized as a regular shopper. It also means that they like their job=good company to work for=good company to buy groceries from.

All the staff at Gelson's are customer service oriented. Larry in produce and the crew are wonderful folks who are always ready to assist and go above and beyond to make sure we are satisfied and find what we are looking for!! Recently, I went in and had a young man bag my groceries by the name of Kenny and he has outstanding customer service skills and manners! What a treat! you don't find this kind of service just anywhere! Also, I have noticed Gelson's works very diligently to offer healthy supplements and food items like kombucha. They really care and make an effort to obtain highest quality items. I appreciate that a lot!

Your prices have increased..example single bottle waters... 2 lemons. SPECIAL Price $$$$$ 4.00 for 2. WHOLE Foods cheaper as well as a A + store Vons.

Everyone was so kind & helpful❣️❣️❣️ The gal at the deli counter, the gentleman who I gave the big cart to when I found a little one & he gladly took it (I then realized he was a manager), Jesus? stocking the Passover display, the Store Manager helping the Asian gentleman with kosher wine & Passover candy for the Seder he was going to, the front desk supervisor, Daniel?, who hopped on the lane and helped me out (when we all came to checkout at once, as if there was a secret bell that only customers hear)!!! Your charoset from the deli is almost as excellent as my mother’s!!! I love Gelson’s!!!

Nice clerk in the deli department. Unfortunately, I didn’t get her name. Younger. I bought three items and she offered me a sample of the new corn salad. It was delicious!

If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! This is the most decident grocery store I've ever been to in my life! Michael at the meet and deli counter was one of the NICEST guys I've ever met at a grocery store. Super friendly and nice! Heck... EVERYONE was super nice and helpful! I'll definitely be back again, and again, and again!

They had Italian prune plums in the produce department. Have not been able to find these anywhere else.

First time visit in a while. Store is upgraded and really well done. They have a number of items that you can’t find at either Bristol Farms or Whole Foods. Love the meat department. Check out those beef ribs. You can purchase a fresh whole Turkey year round. Other grocery stores only offer frozen. They have a carving section in the Deli which is wonderful. We got a 15 lber Free Range Turkey today to Test drive a Dry brine recipe pre Thanksgiving. Luv that they carry Wolfgang Puck salad dressings. Another Exclusive item. Caeser is so good. Salad bar was best we have seen. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cashiers and baggers are super friendly, down to earth and made us feel Very welcome :)

I was concerned about heavy metals in dark chocolate. Fred White the store director was extremely helpful in explain how Gelson's support staff is in avoiding those dark chocolates that contain heavy metals or any other toxins. I was very impressed in his explanations and the time he spent with me.
