Food was pretty good, nothing real special. Went on a Sunday around 4, and music was really loud but overall would recommend. Service was pretty good. Touch tunes. Little outside seating (not the most inviting, but the are a few tables.)

This place made the Irish part of me extremely happy. Guinness, pastrami sandwich, corned beef sandwich. I even tried their Irish taco which was corned beef in a green tortilla. The kids loved their pancakes and chicken fingers. I will literally plan another Newport Beach trip JUST to be able to eat here again.

A NPB classic. Went here a lot in my 20s, still a great bar. Food here is really good. Great breakfast and brunch. Beef sandwiches are top-notch. Great drinks.

Grabbed dinner here recently and was surprisingly impressed! I ordered their black and blue burger with steamed veggies and it was delicious. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, and burger moist and very flavorful --not quite what I was expecting.
The pub itself felt a bit grimy, though what good Irish put isn't? The staff was extremely polite, friendly, and extremely efficient. The prices were very reasonable, in fact, I'd say cheap especially for the area.
It's easy to spot from the surrounding streets, and just a quick walk down to the beach. There was limited parking to the side.
Overall a great experience and would certainly go back!

We saw the billboard advertising their Prime Rib Tuesday special so we popped in for dinner, excellent choice!
The prime rib was delicious, cooked perfectly and a good portion size, (took home a third!). Baked potato was good, onion rings were thick and crunchy, the chili was excellent and nicely presented in cast iron. My father had the fish and chips and they were delicious and also a hearty portion size.
Side salad w/ blue cheese dressing were good too. There is a full bar, great friendly fast service, did congress out of the kitchen HOT much like when dining in Ireland! The prices seem very reasonable, we'd definitely return! 💯 Social distancing, and Covid cleaning is up to snuff and this place seems populate with regulars and they've been here for decades. Nice outdoor seating available. Lots of televisions rubbed to sports. This is a step above most pubs in the states and on par with the best in Ireland! 🤩🍻Thank you to Baily for the friendly, fun high caliber service!! 🥰 Tip your servers generously if you can afford to, these really are tough times for the industry!

The day of my visit was St. Patty's day and the place was packed solid. The Guinness was flowing and cold. We had several shots of fireball. The service was running at full speed but was available for everyone there. I didn't have any food so I don't have any comments. I will try some food on my next visit

It was a hopping place to watch college football. A little loud but you get used to the noise quickly. The food was very good and I thought fairly reasonable.

The best prime rib sandwich you'll ever have. Outdoor seating in the parking lot. Taco Thursday is my new favorite lunch. Salsa bar .
They have corned beef tacos. Yummy and delicious. Ok we're trying the Blu cheese burger. I'm back to the prime rib sandwich. Today I wanted the bacon cheeseburger with blue cheese dressing on the side$11.00 very delicious
And the garden salad $5. W/ blue cheese dressing ( best blue cheese dressing in the world?
And the bartenders are adorable!!! Friendly( no attitude)

It’s so good and affordable. Tuesday night Prime Rib night is 🔥 16 Bucks for so much food! I get an extra salad to go and have lunch for the next day even. If I miss Tuesday, Wednesday night special is Prime Rib Sandwich night for 9.00!!!! Haha I love a bargain. But really everything I’ve had I very good.
I stop in a lot for ToGo wings too when I don’t want to stop for dinner on the way home.
I don’t like ranch very much but thier ranch is so great and so is the blue cheese 👅.
The Bar; great for sports 🏈 and seems like every bar in Newport pours heavy, gets packed with 20 something’s later at night.

Actually went to breakfast with the wife & a couple of her coworkers. Never been. I was surprised how good the breakfast was! Service was quite good also. My wife says they go there often because it's so close to work. I had the chili omelet and it was great! Well done, Malarky's!

Came for their Tuesday Prime Rib special, and was I glad I did! The prime rib was cooked perfectly to order and the flavor penetrated throughout the meat and not just on the outer rim. It a hefty portion on its' own and still came with two sides. Amazing value, a wide selection of beers on tap and a menu to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.
