First time eating at Hopdoddy, we loved it. The food was delicious. Our burgers and fries were very good and filling. We had the Llano Pablano, El Diablo (has a little kick), Doddy melt, Burger bowl, Truffle fries, Nacho fries, and a candy bar shake. You can make any burger a bowl instead of having it on a bun. The fries come in a bowl and the large is enough for a table of 4 to share. You order at the register, cash only. You get your own condiments and drinks and seating is open. Once our food came out, we didn't have any servers come by our table. Not sure if this is business as usual or not. It wouldn't keep us from returning. There was a bar for some adult beverages. We look forward to eating here again.

I started with their sweet potato fries, which were fresh and delicious, accompanied by a pint of Happiness IPA. Later, I tried their Primetime burger and the sliders. Both choices were juicy and flavorful. Overall, it's a fantastic place to satisfy your burger cravings.

Food is great and there is a short line when we order. The Food usually comes out fairly quickly. Their beef is very good quality. Although the burger portion is small, it's filling enough for me. This place is mainly burger focus & they have delicious seasonal appetizers as well. Truffle fries is a must try!
Service: prompt but they don't check on you after they drop off the food like a typical restaurant.
Parking is shared with the Fashion Island mall parking as they are a part of this mall.

We ordered el bandito veggie, it was kind of big, and we ended up doing an open sandwich.
We also ordered the chicken strips and the chicken sandwich. They were really crispy and not that spicy. I would say the slaw for the chicken sandwich was missing something.
The magic shroom salad bowl was delicious, and it's big.
My son said his burger, goodnight, was an 8/10. He claims he has had better ones.
The classic had too much dressing. It's better if you ask for the dressing on the side.

Food was super tasty. Order the double bacon jam burger and Parmesan truffle fries. So much flavor. Also ordered orange wheat beer. Super smooth and refreshing. Def bring your gf here fellas.

Hopdoddy is one of my favorites burger place that I go. The burgers and their drinks are great compared to other fast food places! Definitely recommend if you haven’t tried it yet!!!

Lively atmosphere, service was pretty fast. Staff is friendly. We had the classic burger with cheddar cheese and bacon. The patty was pink in the middle and moist. I am glad I asked if the sassy sauce on the side, not a fan. We really liked the parmesan truffle fries with aioli sauce.

I liked the, but my wife and inlaws didn't. Their gluten free options are great. They had a special menu, and clearly took it seriously. Unfortunately ,from what I heard their thicker patties and buns leave something to be desired. My big suggestion? Put prices on the gluten free meny.
As an aside, I loved how they had rodeo riding on tv. I have only lived in liberal states, so it was a treat to see a media product entirely packaged for a conservative audience. The aesthetic was definitely different and enjoyable to watch. For example, there was a prayer section with a close-up of a rider's impassioned face, and the pledge of allegiance got way more fanfare. That kind of cross cultural education is great.

Magic Shroom burger is always excellent. But disappointed that they don't have a honey mustard dipping sauce anymore for fries or chicken strips. Also disappointing that they don't have the fancy soft drink choices anymore.

Searched on Google for a burger place on way home from our work retreat & so glad we chose Hopdoddy. Don’t be thrown off that it’s in a large mall—it’s worth it. We were greeted by friendly staff & given clear instructions along with suggestions. The burgers are fresh, hot loaded with flavor. The fries were memorably good. Service was over the top helpful. Highly recommend this place for burgers & brews.

In the middle of a road trip with the family and suddenly got Hangry. Saw a burger place. I can't see enough about the fry menu. It was nice and salty with good portion size. If you've got the munchies this is the menu you want to go with. I have the Thunderbird and it was just fine.
I tried to order the cherry limeade and it tasted awful. Like straight syrup mixed with tequila. I exchanged it for the oatmeal stout which didn't have much oatmeal flavor but it's hard to screw up a dark beer. The staff were all so kind. I cannot say enough good things about them. Especially Julia. Someone gives that sweet lady a raise and a cookie.
On the reverse side, they have a wonderful availability of stubborn soda which is so delicious. It might be my favorite soda brand.
They had men and women's restrooms which we're not adjacent but at the back and around the corner. Still clean and smelled nice. Both of men and women's restrooms had a changing station.
If I lived locally I would go back for a soda and some group fries while perusing them all.

It was a good hamburger 🍔 . It was not cooked all the way. It didn't go to waste. My boyfriend finished it, so it didn't go to waste. It I had more time, I would have ordered a drink from the bar. One thing is the birds outside . I wish they would clean the table a little better.
