Cosy Italian food restaurant in Newport Beach ticked away in upscale strip mall near Balboa Island. Pricey but good, and satisfying. Can bring your own wine for corkage fee, but call first. Otherwise, pretty decent wine selection. Can split salad and or appetizer and save room for yummy selection of dessert! Nice place. Reservations recommended, especially on weekends. Plenty of free parking.

The food was amazing. Service was excellent, and the whole place had a great atmosphere.
The staff all seemed to be enjoying their jobs, which made for a more enjoyable experience.
The owner, Sal, stopped us on our way out to thank us and we had a great chat with him about Italy! Will definitely be back!
This place is very good! Tried both the pizza side and the fine dining restaurant both are amazing! The staff has always been attentive, very good homemade bread and the food is great!! The pizzas are made right in front of you in a brick oven!! I added salmon to my pear salad, I loved it!!
Sapori is a hidden gem for Italian food in Newport Beach. The food is delicious with really generous portions. I don't think there was anything I disliked and the prices are very reasonable.
What an amazing dinner. Wow, loved our burrata appetizer and Chicken piccata . Sarah, at the bar served us and we asked her favorite. She has impeccable taste and was very up beat and attentive. Great place. Compliments to all
I enjoyed it and I'm picky about Italian food, I live on the East coast with plenty of homemade pasta and I have to say this was great. I'd definitely go back. Nice atmosphere and food choices. I had the swordfish off the specials menu and it was perfect. The pasta and meatballs were also very good. Sweet place, a good choice.
Ordered salmon farfalle to go. It was delicious! Excellent with the bread, too!
We had poor, slow service the night we were there. However, the food was excellent and we were able to have a conversation around a large table with little difficulty.
Amazing food, and a really great environment. Right next to Balboa Island, and it has a really romantic and enjoyable outdoor seating area with a fireplace and he dares surrounded by a garden of greenery. The waiters are extremely professional and classy, and most of them are actually Italian. All in all just a great place with amazing food
