I loved having Valet right off the hop! The guys were great. We sat outside and it was absolutely beautiful. Our supper was so fresh and delicious and the cheesecake was probably the best I've ever had. The texture was perfect. 10/10 Very friendly team there too. Thank you for having us!

The restaurant have this warm ambience, we were seated promptly and food came out quickly. I enjoyed the Jumbo shrimp cocktail it was amazing, also the Calamari Fritti was meaty but was a bit oily main dish was Skuna bay salmon very tasty and healthy. The cheesecake was mind blowing soft and very delicious Definitely I will visit again.

We made a reservation at this place for a large group. Great location next to pier. Friendly service. Valet parking is a convenience since it’s hard to find parking in Newport Beach. Food was really good. We tried several appetizers as well. Everything was great. It was a great experience.

I enjoyed the salad, coconut shrimp, chili Brussels sprouts with the healthy salmon plate, and cheese cake! The calamari was meaty but the breading isn’t my style. The cheesecake was really soft a delicious! I couldn’t stop eating it! The chili Brussels sprouts made me enjoy my salmon even more! Love the view!

My wife and I decided to have dinner here as it's been on our list for a long time. It was a great decision. The service was one of the best we've ever had. The ambiance and water view was beautiful. We decided to have the coconut shrimp, clam chowder and garlic bread for an appetizer. Everything hit the spot perfectly. For dinner we each had a sea bass with the orange glaze and Jasmin rice. It was cooked perfectly and the sauce was sooo delicious. The manager was so sweet and gave us a cheese cake on the house to end the night. We will definitely be back!

I grew up in Newport Beach. I was 21 when Rusty Pelican opened. I was a frequent customer. It's one, if not the last of the fabulous restaurants that were on that strand of PCH. The Arches, Villa Nova, and some others were the hip places to go. Rusty Pelican carries on in that wonderful tradition of elegance and still affordable waterfront dining. My recent visit was both new, exciting, mixed with fond nostalgia. Kudos to Rusty Pelican for keeping it alive. 🌺

What a wonderful experience at rusty pelican. This is likely our 3rd time here but it was a big celebration event for our family. The food was amazing. Everyone enjoyed all the appetizers. The big hit was the crab cakes and the cauliflower. The cocktails were awesome. I had the wedge salad with grilled chicken which was amazing. The pasta ala vodka and chicken piccata were a big hit and so was the cioppino. Lobster bisque was really tasty. Our server Chad deserves a medal. Very friendly, courteous and thoughtful as he brought a complimentary cheesecake for my younger kids promotion celebration which was unexpected. The two hostesses upfront were also very amazing as they helped us with the best possible seating arrangement for our party. Ambience is great with the view of the bay.

The restaurant was jammed packed on an ordinary Sat night. We booked with request for window and though we were seated promptly we did not get the best marina view as we were behind a group of diners by the window. Service and kitchen were efficient - our food came out quickly. The items we had - crab cakes, steamed mussels and clam in wine broth, garlic bread, grilled sea bass, asparagus, and for dessert, key lime pie- were all delicious. Prices are reasonable. Would definitely come back, but on a weeknight so hopefully it wouldn’t be as crowded and we’d get a better table in this charming place. I would have liked the outdoor seating if it hadn’t been so windy and cold.

Really phenomenal meal, service, and location. They were able to accommodate our large party and even the kids felt welcome - a rare thing at a restaurant like this! The surf and turf was excellent and the cheesecake was to die for. Everyone walked away pleased with their meal!

Fish was fresh and tasty. Server was bit busy but not too bad for a quick Sunday lunch.
