What a view! The line takes forever though! On a Saturday they should open both registers! Standing in the sun hungry waiting for food with kids not a fun experience! The food and service excellent! Also they need more parking and sitting. But I love this place to relax and have some good food

I hate to say anything because it's such a hidden Gem but if you don't say anything then hidden gems go away. Amazing to sit there facing the ocean and watch the sunset. It was absolutely beautiful. the service was great the food was good and you can't beat the scenery.

Yum, we got & shared: hot dogs, fries, root beer float, cookies n cream & mocha shake. Long line but fast service. Gorgeous views & had a fun drive up the coast!

Where is the hottest dining destination for families in Orange County this summer? The Ruby’s Shake Shack! The Shake Shack has been a favorite place to get shakes and burgers for OC locals and visitors for many years.

I have always passed this place but have always wanted to go, but they are usually super busy! I went on a Tuesday afternoon during sunset and it wasn't super busy for once! My bf and I got to sit along the railing and watch the sunset as we ate our burgers, fries, and shake. Although it wasn't a super fancy restaurant, the food was great and the view was spectacular. 10/10 in my book. The fries were great (shoestring style) and shake was awesome. My only knock is that the patty was under seasoned and it made the burger a little bland. Still juicy, but it needed a Lil more seasoning to bring it to perfection.

Great must stop at scenic spot for a quick bite and amazing views. Plenty of seating though people are always vying for the best spots. Food is good. Nothing amazing. Shakes were a little watery and the burger was decent. The views and the vibe are the selling points here. Very friendly staff as well! Parking is tough because it is a very limited lot. I do not recommend parking illegally or leaving your car there to walk to the beach. They will tow you out of there ASAP if they see you walking away and the staff is on the look out for this. Watched it almost happen to a family but they got back to their car before the tow truck got to them. The tow truck arrived within 10 minutes of them leaving and just couldn’t get to the car because of the line of cars. Be respectful of the limited space; get in, enjoy your food and views, then let others do the same.

The turkey burger here was amazing. I also loved the cajun seasoning added to the fries. The chocolate and banana shake made it perfect. Parking is a challenge but worth it for the views and food.

This place, at least for my family, is a special treat. I have 3 kids (8-12) and it cost us $103 to eat here. For us this is expensive. We drove from upper OC to make a Friday night memory. It was late September when we went and the weather was nice. Cloudy yes but it was peaceful there and comfortable. Food was very good. We all had burgers and fries and shared 4 shakes while I had a club sandwich that was very tasty. Great views! PARKING IS VERY SMALL! Be prepared to wait to park, and people, please be courteous and not park there to just hang out. Let other people enjoy the food and views as well. Thank you.

We went to the Crystal Cove Shake Shake on a beautiful Sunday evening. The line was long but moved quickly. The parking lot was tiny so I recommend trying to find a different place to park and walk to the restaurant. We got an orangiscle shake and it was perfect for the heat light and refreshing. I got the burger with sweet potato fries and the fries were amazing. Sweet potato fries can be difficult to make not burnt or soggy and these were perfect. We also got the shrimp roll and my partner loved it. Overall an amazing experience. Phenomenal view and great food. This is not one of those places that you overpay for okay food and a great view. It's good food, decent price, great view. I recommend checking out Crystal cove Shake shack if you've never been and would love to come back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Crystal Cove Shake Shack with my family, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning view of the cove, making it a perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The sandwiches at Crystal Cove Shake Shack were undoubtedly the highlight of our visit. The menu offered a diverse range of options to cater to every taste. Our visit to Crystal Cove Shake Shack was nothing short of fantastic. The outstanding sandwiches, friendly staff, and unforgettable view made it a remarkable culinary journey. Whether you're a local looking for a delightful spot to enjoy a meal or a tourist seeking a true taste of the coastal beauty, this place should be at the top of your list.

I visited this location not much of a fan of Shake Shack in general. My experiences at locations away from the ocean have been poor, but this location is better and worth the visit if you're in the area and would like to gamble on finding a parking spot. I recommend fish tacos but don't recommend the shrimp roll sandwich. I don't even think many people get the shrimp roll sandwich because I had to repeat my order slowly and the associate seemed confused when he heard it. The regular fries at this place are good. The highlight of my review is the pricing indicated on Maps. Take what is shown on Maps with a cup of salt, $10-$20 isn't correct, it's more like $20-30 because a milkshake costs $8 and on average the food costs $17. With tax and if you so choose to tip for just placing your order at the window and then walking over to pick it up, that's at least $25 per single order already which feeds one person. The people reporting $10-20 either don't know how to do math or didn't get a milkshake which leads me to saying that a milkshake is a must have. The Oreo milkshake was the highlight of my visit and being able to see the teal colored shack from the 1950s down below by the beach which is part of Crystal Cove Historic area was also cool.

We visited on a Monday in early August at noon. The views are stunning. The food was typical lunch counter options you would find on a boardwalk/pier. Their fries are excellent. We got burgers, BLTA - BLT with avocado, fish and chips, and a bowl of chowder. It's obvious they've been doing this for a long time. Food quality was excellent, came out hot and fast and the backdrop can't be beat. Parking is a little difficult but wait at the mouth of the lot for a space to open up. It moves fairly quickly. We waited 15 minutes before a couple folks left. That was just enough time for my family to order and find a table. If you get a chance to visit don't hesitate to stop in for a snack/meal. Breakfast is available as well as lunch. Hope y'all get a chance to experience this place like we did.

I ate the best hamburger I've ever had in my life here! I really don't know if the hamburger was the best and probably wasn't, but dining with that view was priceless. You place your order and wait for your number to be told. It took about fifteen minutes. Milkshakes are homemade and enormous! Prices are quite affordable. There is a parking lot. It is not known whether it is because we went during the tourist season, but if you are going these days, you will wait in line for parking in your car. Definitely wait in that queue and experience it!

This is a really awesome spot for a beach sunset snack/meal. Good burgers, fries, shakes, and views. The food was really really good and satisfying, we almost came back for more the next day :D Order at the window and grab a seat wherever you see one. The patio seating is first come, so arrive a bit earlier if you want a good spot for watching the sunset, as it will get busy. We got lucky and snacked two seats at the balcony which was absolutely perfect. There is very limited parking, so you have to get creative. I ended up parking in the crystal cove park and taking the path from the road up to the lot to skedaddle after park closed.
