Fine luxurious steak house with super friendly and well trained staff. They considered all the details. Ribeye steak was amazing. Lobster bisque was also so good, if you like the seafood don’t hesitate to try it.

This fine-dining restaurant at the california won a devoted following for classic seafood, casual but sophisticated settings,.. The food is amazing and the staff is wonderful with incredible service. There was very soft lighting and peaceful music playing.

Eddie V’s quality and taste of food never disappoints. The oysters are always insanely fresh. The jumbo crab crake is a favorite of mine along with the lobster tacos. I enjoy myself every time I dine here. Romantic atmosphere, there’s bar seating, and recommend making a reservation ahead of time.

Wonderful Birthday(s) and Engagement Celebration. Enjoyed Drinks and wine at bar while waiting for table. Sat at a High Top just off Bar in great location with excellent view and perspective of main dining area and kitchen. Started with a Dozen Oysters and Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, and made sure we all had choice of Bubbly, Cocktails and Wine. Oysters were truly excellent, served with plenty of cocktail sauce and the great Atomic Horse Radish. Crab Cakes served with Remoulade are always so delicious and full of Crab, the best any where. We had, Scallops, Lobster and Ribeye, all of which were fantastic, Scallops and Lobster were super fresh, succulent and sweet, Ribeye was very flavorful, and all were perfectly cooked. Treated to Birthday Desert(s) of Bananas Foster with plenty of Whip Cream and Ice Cream. We had an exceptional evening. Thank you, The Nielsens

Our dinner was memorable and so delicious. Thank you to the AWESOME Diantha and the chefs. Mac'n cheese with truffles and crab fried rice are my favorite sides. Wonderful experience! You feel like a VIP, seriously.

My wife and I went out for a date night and had a fantastic experience! The service was incredible. We felt like we had everything we needed at all times. The food was great as always. We had an amazing seafood tower as an appetizer. We shared the scallops and bone-in ribeye steak. The steak was cooked perfectly and I am very picky about that. I would highly recommend Eddie V’s if you’re looking for a great spot for dinner in Newport Beach.

First time at this location, and just like the San Diego location, service was amazing, great food ! Waitress was thee best:) enjoyed watching the cooks and kitchen staff prepare food and whip it out to guest, they really were running like a machine...

My first time here and my son and his wife treated me for my birthday! Everything exceeded my expectations in leaps and bounds! The food was prepared and presented perfectly! And everything tasted superb!! We were greeted by friendly hosts and ASHTON showed us to our table. HE Wished me a happy birthday and to my surprise there was a handwritten bday card on the table and rose colored rhinestones arranged as a champagne glass !!! (See pic) Yes, the restaurant created this. Nice touch! Then our food server, YESI introduced herself and took EXCELLENT care of us! We ordered fried calamari and Caeser salad first, then for our entrees.... Chilean sea bass, steak with jumbo shrimp, and parmesan crusted sole. Side dishes.. truffle Mac and cheese, and crab fried rice. Kudos to the chef for outstanding entrees. The food prep and creation of the different sauces that accompanied each entree were amazing and flavorful. For dessert, was a decadent chocolate cake with berries and a thoughtful Bananas Foster flambe! Delicious! YESI always made sure our water glasses filled and paid attention to all the little details that contributed to our wonderful experience. I was extremely impressed with this place. Great place for special occasion or date night, recommending old fashion and beef tartare, freshly made by your side. Nice menu for kids and over all atmosphere very lovely.

Our food was delicious and tasted very fresh and not heavy on the stomach. We had the Scallops and the Mediterranean Branzino, along with the Scallop Fried rice (Which was amazing- with I ordered the Full Portion instead of Half). We showed up without a reservation and were seated promptly. Our server, Amber, took exceptional care of us and made us feel extra special on our anniversary- even got us a delicious dessert with a candle!! I heard the steak is also good here, so I'll be back to try that.

Well let's start with the wonderful wait staff: The recommendations were spot-on. They were curteous, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The meal was perfectly timed so that the drinks, appetizers and entrees came out at the proper moments. Nothing worse than getting your appetizer 2 mins before your meal. Now to the food: They have the best crabcake outside of Maryland! The rib eye steak was seasoned through-and-through, served on a sizzling hot plate and was perfection. I tasted my sister's sea bass and it was light and delicious. You cannot leave withou trying the crab fried rice - there are not enough adjectives to describe this dish! The desert was last. I was too full to try the bananas foster but I enjoyed the show when the waiter set the sauce aflame! Overall, a superb dining experience.

Six of us cane to enjoy New Years Eve dinner. One would think that maybe with this busy night, food might not be prepared properly or be delayed. Not the case. First of all, our server was great. My husband’s Ahi was seared to perfection. Our steaks were cooked as ordered. We had already decided on the Banana Foster but our server also recommended a “not-so-sweet” chocolate delight to counter balance the sweetness of the Banana Foster. He was so right-on. Everything was perfect.

Everything was perfect from the wait staff to the food. Our server was very attentive. The food was superb, the crab cake is to die for.

My boyfriend choose this place to celebrate our 1st anniversary and we both amaze their service so awesome. They give you the best meal that is really good choice. I really recommend this to my friends too. I like their little greet and thank you card with one rose too, if you are celebrating birthday or anniversaries make sure you tell them. �

Where do I start? Jordan the bartender is on point every time we go. We go 3 or 4 times a year. The food is impeccable, the service is great and it's an excellent way to dine. Can't wait to go in may after the Newport Beach jazz festival. See ya then. �

The waitress was awesome! Oysters were fresh and delicious, shrimp was decent, but they had a really difficult time with their overpriced meat. We tried two different cuts and both were served almost still moving. Medium rare at most of the top restaurants seems consistent. Their medium rare was completely raw in center, and dark red throughout with a thin layer of pink and brown at surface.

Amazing food great service!! From out of town and was very satisfied! Steaks and shrimp were on point!! 3 thumbs up!

If only I could give more stars than just 5. The food is wonderful, the wines are too ... but the truth is it’s all about their staff!! We love Manuel!!!

We had a party of 10 and we were told that we needed an early reservation at 5pm because they were booked. When we arrived, there were only a couple of tables sat. When we left at 8pm, the restaurant got busier however not that busy to accommodate a reservation for 10 at 7pm. The service was top notch! Two servers assisted our table and they were spot on! All out meals were scrumptious. Other than the reservation issue, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Love Wildfish. Best seafood. No one tops their crab cakes. My absolute fave.
