Carl's Jr.

Expensive but the quality of good has improved since my last visit 4 years ago. The food was hot and the french fries were shockingly fresh. The staff was polite and quick. From what I could see of the dining room, it had been regularly cleaned as had the indoor bathrooms. A simple burger and fries and drink will set you back well over $10 but that's the way things are nowadays. At least the quality has returned to near what it was back in the day when Carl Karcher was still running things. And since most locations now are franchised and not corporate, that is truly saying something.

Went here late last night for a burger craving. We used a coupon we got in the mail for their new bacon beast burger which would have allowed us to get 2 of the burgers for the price of one. Instead, we received 2 completely different burgers which were terrible. The burgers had chili, and onion ring, and absolutely no veggies. Apparently the new burger costed $10!!!! A fast food chain that sells a burger for $10, which I thought was ridiculous. It was even worse that we received the wrong burgers completely. They showed lack of care and attention to detail.

Our children attend Catechism at the church across the street once a week.. We stop by for a quick dinner at this Carls Jr once a week bc we have a half hour layover between classes. This Carls Jr NEVER has all of the condiments. Last night I asked maybe they could mention it to the GM, and she says it's "out of his hands".. ?? Well who's hands is it in then?? My first thought was the shortages... But the ranch is not coming from China is it?? Carl's Jr charges $15 for a combo, condiments are not too much to ask.

I ordered the new prime rib burger combo. The menu said the cost was 9.50. The tried to charge 13.57. The manager said I was charged for super sizing ( bigger fries and bigger drink). So he knocked a dollar because I did NOT request super size. But 9.50 plus tax is STILL less than 13.57. This a pattern of theirs. Beware, watch them like a hawk or get ripped off.
