Light & Healthy is THE BEST SUSHI IN CALIFORNIA! Maybe I should say in the West coast, I now live in Washington state and ever time I travel to the Santa Clara area I have to stop here. So essentially I traveled 1100 miles for this deliciousness! I’ve have turned so many people on to this place! Every time we bring new people they love the fish 🐠 & they continue to bring people. The fish is fresh and the cuts are perfect as they melt in your mouth. It’s a very small place that opens for dinner at 5 so get there at 5 to get a seat or you will be waiting. They do have all you can eat it’s expensive but if you are hungry it’s worth it. Thank you Jack for all your years of service there as a sushi Chef.

The lack of service did it for me. If you are not one of their regulars, you are better off going elsewhere, had to ask for straws for my table 2 times, our food didn’t get to the table In the sequence the orders where placed, other tables got their orders before mine, I had to ask for ginger and wasabi and one of my rolls was parade all over the restaurant till they finally figured it was mine. I think the only thing that made it to my table quickly was the Check when I finally was able to get the waitress attention. Definitely would not recommend or go back.

Great sushi, super fresh. The reason for 3 stars really. Lost two because they give you limits on what you can order. At almost $48 dollars for AYCE, it's a little ridiculous to tell me I can only have 3 orders of salmon per person. With a one hour cap for AYCE. Very little to choose from but like I said what is available is fresh. Felt like I was being pushed out when we reached 1 hr and 20 mins. Which is fine but most places it's 2 hrs and no one was really there at 7pm on a Tuesday. Also if you think you and another ayce can share, don't. I don't like eel and my husband loves it, only 3 orders per person. So I ordered my 3 for him, got told by the chef you can't do that.

This is possibly my favorite sushi restaurant I've ever been to. Used to be a regular 20 years ago and now I return every single time I come back to visit. Food rocks! Staff rocks! Always enjoy myself when I'm here and I will continue to return for as long as I'm allowed. If you're feeling adventurous, get yourself a couple quail egg shooters. You can thank me later.
