Skip the Starbucks and get your coffee here. I'm a grind at home person using fresh beans and a technivorm mocchamaster and I can't make a cup of French roast as well as these folks do. Great coffee!

The fella running the show is mean to his employees in front of customers. Unfortunate because everything else, coffee, food, and the other employees are solid. Always have been.
I was ordering, with my two year old, and upon pausing for a moment, mid order, to give my two year old attention, I was rudely met with a sarcastic "sorry to interrupt, but do you want to finish your order?" Rudeness aside, there were only two other people in line and the place was otherwise empty.
We left, never to return.

One of my favorite places to work in Newburyport, with some fantastic drink options including a great wine and beer list. Of note: This is now Cafe Magna, but is the exact same location as the old Atomic Cafe.

This has all the ingredients: great coffee, great staff, good sandwiches, beer, comfortable seats (a few big leather chairs, too) and it's connected to a good bookstore. Basically, perfect.

The wait was really long, but the mocha was worth it! Seemed like a great place to spend time! Good selection of beers and wines available also!

Their own roasted coffee is delicious. The food is great as well. Lots of room to sit and have lunch.
