I really liked this restaurant, located right in the beautiful center of Newburyport. It was bigger inside than I expected, has the second floor, it also offers open air sittings on the street level and on the second floor patio, all very spacious and comfortable. The food was just great! Everything we tried was very delicious! πŸ‘ We tried brushetta, lamb lollipops, sushi, salmon with rice, short ribs, tacos, chicken with pasta. Children menu was great, too - burger with french fries was really good! Special thank you to our amazing waitress Olivia!! She provided absolutely BEST service possible and made our evening even more special. Super professional and super nice, she served our group of 12 people effortlessly, while taking care of other tables and guests! The restaurant is really lucky to have her! There is tons of parking in the center - a couple of large parking lots and in the garage across the street. Parking is $1 per hour. I would absolutely be back! Highly recommended! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

This beautiful little spot in Newburyport should be on your list. Its just outside of all the bussel of the shops and other restaurants. You have an option to sit on the deck or inside. The inside has a great ambience and our first impressions were good. We tried two apps, calamari and Thai Chilli wings. I can't say enough, both were delicious. We decided to try sushi after, a little expensive, but tasted great. We'll be back again.

This place was poppin' on a Friday night! Overall the vibe was great and the food was also pretty good, just not the best. My favorite was the bruschetta appetizer, which comes on a giant monster slice of delicious focaccia. From there, it seems like you can go either the sushi route or steak route. We chose the steak route, and it was fairly good but nothing to write home about. My short ribs were super tender and tasty. My husband's steak was a bit on the thin side and slightly overdone, but not enough to complain, and the center was perfect. Seems nitpicky but for the price, I mean, ya gotta be! Pretty solid date night overall, next time I'd try the sushi though.

I've been to the Black Cow several times now and always love it! The Lamb Lollipops and Crab Cakes are my favorite appetizers! For drinks, I'm a huge fan of the Long Island Ice Coffee and highly recommend it. The sushi is always delicious, fresh and presented beautifully! Definitely worth a trip, but I'd recommend reserving a table as it can get busy.

Lunch stop. Wonderful terrace seating. Pleasant service without being overbearing. Incredible value for money with huge portions. Above average beer list.

Had a yummy drink here, a pearberry then had the cowsmoe. Who knew they had fresh made sushi too. It is prepared right in the dining room. It was delicious as an appetizer. I had the fish tacos that were very good and my husband had the fried chicken sandwich that was huge!!

I came here for dinner on Friday night, and it was a great time. Perfect night to eat outside. I got the fish tacos and a coconut margarita. The fish was fried haddock, cooked to perfection, with a tasty corn salsa and spicy mayo inside and beans on the side. The margarita was delicious, and the my waitress was very attentive and helpful. She helped me decide what to get since it was my first time there. I'll be going back asap!

Cold day, good food! Stopped in with my wife, had two app portions, Calamari and then a beef skewer in pineapple chunk dish and both were plentiful and really good. Tender calamari, really well cooked pineapple! Service was so-so: the bartender was busy talking to some friends at the other side of the bar, so we were pretty much ignored, and when we entered we stood at one end for a while before a patron told us the greeter was at the other end of the restaurant and we had to go to them. Two apps and a glass of wine was $65 so pretty steep. Dinners in the $30-40 range.
