Food was so good. We eat at a lot of different places in this genre of food and this so far has been the best we have had in the Midwest. I can’t say anything we had was bad. All the food was amazing and staff was excellent. The only thing I would say is we found the restaurant through a voucher off restaurant.com but unfortunately they wouldn’t honor it because they don’t have a deal with that website so that website is scamming people into buying vouchers that can’t be used. Though I was a little sad a spent quite a bit more than I planned given the voucher wasn’t honored, it had nothing to do with the quality of the food. They absolutely knocked it out of the park on taste, presentation, and portions. We will definitely be back.
The food was fabulous. Great flavour, nicely presented, just the right accent of authentic spice! The serving staff were very helpful and courted. The decor was plain, set in a strip mall location... but again, the food was terrific!
Great Indian food. Tried Garlic Naan with Matar Paneer and Lamb Biryani. It was very good. Definitely recommend it
Our first time here. We ordered carry out. The gentleman at the front counter (possibly the owner) was very nice and easy to converse with. He had my order done right on time and with a smile. Butter chicken, curry chicken, samosas, and naan. Everything was excellent! Even our kids enjoyed it!
We had take out tonight & it was amazing. We’ll definitely be going back.
I’ve eaten some very good Indian food while traveling overseas & always end up craving it when I get home. However, I had given up looking for anything comparable in the Midwest as they all disappointed. That all ends now - the food at Royal Indian is as good as any I’ve had!
Best in Evansville area. Well worth the trip to Newburgh. Their buffet had very unique dishes with a pretty good amount of spice. A little more kick would have been perfect for me but as a buffet, definitely an appeal to many.
Going back home to Indiana after a long time of being away, I was shocked by how amazing the food options had become. This little place in Newburgh is the perfect example. Super authentic Indian with an owner anxious to impress. Plus a really well priced simple buffet for those Hoosiers wanting to try something a little different. Can't recommend it enough.
