Totally did not know about this "hidden delight" right in the midstream of Newburgh. Thank you SAKURA for the flyer/menu I found in my mailbox. My first order lacked nothing...seasoned perfect, cooked to my perfection, menu runneth over and personal service was inspiring. #Iwillbeback
If you love sushi, try this place. It's the real deal. Presentation is awesome and the taste is there too. Probably the best value in Evansville area for quality sushi. Go before 5 p.m. for the Happy Hour sushi prices!

I have had lunch here several times and this was my first visit for dinner.
I will say the food is always excellent the people are friendly and you get plenty of food for your money.

Everything was amazing! We took advantage of their new delivery option. This is exactly what Newburgh needed - finally something that delivers other than pizza! Husband ordered a Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box, which was a huge amount of food; and we also ordered General's Chicken and Crab Rangoon. Everything was delicious! Not one complaint! And we have more than enough for another meal from the leftovers lol
Went to Sakura in Newburgh tonight with my besties Deby Bryant and Sara Sweetwood. I've been eating Sushi since our Jaoanese exchange student Yumi introduced me to it 12 years ago. The sushi we had tonight is by far the very best I have had to date. It was fresh and the presentation was out of this world. The house fried rice was head and shoulders above the rest, including Ninki. The staff was attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was top notch. I will definately return, and the sooner the better! Thank you Sakura we loved it!!!! Oh and the tempura, did I mention the tempura? It was succulent!!!!
Love this place! Super fresh sushi done right. They have a lot of great veggie roll options that are different than the traditional ones. Service is quick and friendly. It's my new favorite sushi place in the Evansville area.

Very impressed!! The food was delicious!! They r in the old Dairy Queen. We got sushi and hibachi and both were made perfectly. And they have a huge menu and carry out!!!
Great food, great service! If you are one who likes the "show" at other Japanese steakhouses, then this isn't the place for you. With that said, if you are looking for great food definitely stop here. The Newburgh Roll and Spicy Crab Roll are fantastic. The Chicken and Shrimp Hibachi is awesome!!!
Absolutely delicious, very clean, beautiful calm atmosphere, sushi rolls are fantastic, mouth watering entrees, excellent service, the best of the tristate, highly recommended.
The food is great and so is the service. Fried Rice is served with the meal, not that white rice as with most restaurants.
Great place! Had a California roll for the first time and loved it! The lunch general tso chicken was delicious too. Great prices. Nice addition to Newburgh!

Passing through town and stopped in for lunch. We had Tempura Sakura and it was very good. We also enjoyed Hibachi steak and chicken with veggies and fried rice. Our mom got Hibachi shrimp and loved it. Everything was good.
Me and my husband went for lunch. We order the bento box-kunch portion. We both were very satisfied. The steak was cooked perfectly. Service was good. Total recommended.
Delicious! I can honestly eat here every day for the rest of my life and be happy haha. I am definitely a regular here. The food is so fresh and delicious. Probably one of the best Asian foods I’ve had in a very long time. I have them deliver to me most of them time and they are super fast and kind. They have wonderful flavors. The prices on their food is great on top of delivery. I’m moving further away soon and will miss this restaurant a lot. Thank you Sakura for being great and feeding me and my family!
We ordered Sakura delivery tonight because even though it’s only Wednesday, it’s been a long week. Our food order was perfect, it was hot-like right from the pan hot- and it was SO GOOD!! Also it came super fast right from the restaurant, no grub hub delays. We will definitely be ordering/dining in again!!
This is a lovely restaurant! The staff was very kind and helpful, and the food came so quickly! Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh, and the vegan and vegetarian options for me were great :) My date loved the shrimp bento box. Highly recommend paying a visit!
We had sushi, a steak bento box and chicken nuggets and fries for the kids. Every single thing was delicious! The staff were so nice and the price was excellent. What a wonderful spot to hit while on the road.
Get past thinking that it used to be a Dairy Queen. It is fabulous. You need to give it a try.
