Cool place to visit. Clean and friendly. Not a ton of seating so I would recommend calling ahead. Everyone's meals were pretty good, and fairly priced. The "hot fiddler" they specialize in was ok. It's a whole fried catfish (or two). The PO boy was good as was the fried chicken. For appetizers we got catfish curls and kraut balls. The kraut balls are sour kraut and cheese filled deep fried balls. I enjoyed those the most.

Great service. Friendly place. Its was busy when I was there...6pm. I sat at the bar. Had a drink quickly. They had milk to make my White Russian.... Big plus! Met few people. Fried mushrooms were hot and fresh.
Be careful in parking lot. If busy its tight.
I would recommend Knob Hill Tavern. Plan to go again when I can.
They are open on Mondays, unlike Crickets, Fat Boy Pizza....and have full menu unlike Jennings Street.

Delicious Catfish Filet Sandwich served with their awesome cole slaw. Service by Madi was teriffic.
I feel a need to comment on the restaurant itself. It's kind of old, and the inside is a bit drab (dark paneling), but it's tidy and the fresh flowers on every table (and in the sparkling clean bathroom) go a long way towards brightening things up. The patio is a lovely place to enjoy a meal when the weather is nice.

My husband and I felt a bit uncomfortable with the level of attention given to us by patrons and staff. Not sure what that was all about.. perhaps not being locals had something to do with it..The overall ambience of this local spot is rather nice. The food was a different story. The steak was tough, very chewy, bland and hey, I still have all my darn teeth! We also ordered beer that tasted rather unpleasant. Overall the big winners were our dogs! They got leftovers. 👎

It was a quiet midafternoon meal. Food was cooked well and waitress was friendly and helpful. Tried a fiddler and it was good! The landscaping was beautiful and comfortable decor. Thanks!

The best fried Catfish in the Tri State. Always nice size fiddlers fried to perfection with sides that are all great tasting. The. Knob represents the best of Tavern food with consistency, quality, and fair pricing.

Knob is a very consistent place to eat and drink. The staff was incredibly friendly and eager to help, no matter the request. The menu has many choices and the list of tap beers is impressive. Our food arrived in a very respectable time frame and the beer was perfectly cold. We have been many times before, and we will be back again. If you haven't been to Knob Hill, treat yourself!
