Been there 3 weekends in a row and never been disappointed. The wait staff is totally awesome and the food is the best that you’ll find. The first time I went there I was surprised before I walked in at all the Kentucky plates on the cars. And I thought I’m not the only one that drove from Henderson there. The place was packed but only had to wait just a few mins for a seat. I’ve had the Italian beef with the Italian sausage in it, the banana foster French toast and today was the gyro burger. Each meal was great ! Would highly recommend this place to anyone and if you haven’t been then you don’t know what you’re missing
This Restaurant is about the best place I have had breakfast at, fast service in a crowd I have never experienced that before, and on top of everything the food was excellent!!!
First time here after hearing numerous good things about it, and it was amazing! Arrived at 8:30, sat down immediately (even though they were very busy), food ordered, delivered, and eaten in about a half hour. The biscuits and gravy was very good, I had French toast which was very good, and the sausage was the best I’ve had! Highly recommend this place to anyone who’s never been before!

Came home to visit family & decided to try your breakfast! Definitely the right decision! The food was awesome, son in law even told our waitress to give compliments to the kitchen! The biscuits & gravy is among the best I’ve had! Will keep Nellies in mind for future visits!!!
First time to Nellie’s Restaurant. We had breakfast. My husband ordered the Classic Benedict and I had the Garden Omelet. And, we each ordered half order of biscuits & gravy. We were very impressed with our food. Highly recommend if you have not been to Nellie’s Restaurant. We will definitely go back! It was packed and busy when we got there but we only waited for about 10 to 15 minutes!
The service was great, the food was fabulous & they were so fast. Don't be afraid to stop if the parking lot is full, there is a lot of seating inside. I recommend the Banana Foster French Toast
Very tasty & hot breakfast. I had the Florentine Eggs Benedict, yum!! Great service & lots of hot coffee. Will go back for lunch soon!! We had a table of 10 & were seated right away on Easter Sunday. A definite must for a good bite!!
Food was delicious and service was great. The restaurant was packed and rather noisy, but I had expected that based on previous reviews. Despite that I’d return in a heartbeat. I was a little surprised that the ladies room only had one stall. I felt bad that there was someone waiting for me to finish when I exited. We were there for breakfast. Can’t wait to return for lunch soon.
We've went for breakfast quite a few times, and got different things each time, loved it. Had lunch today, and loved it. Burgers are huge, you get what you paid for. People are friendly, and always checking in on you. I'm not much of a diner person, but this place is my new favorite�
Fantastic food, try the bananas foster waffle, it was to die for! Great wait staff. Five stars!

I have been wanting to try Nellies and I finally did. Stopped by Wednesday 4-4-18 and ordered some breakfast to go to take to my mom. Omg the food is absolutely wonderful. I told my husband about how good it was. We decided to go for a late breakfast on Saturday 4-7-18. He loved it!! We will definitely return. Great service as well.
First time eating here, food was awesome. My wife had the tenderloin sandwich. Definitely worth getting! Light crispy breading and juicy tender meat. I got the chicken fajita skillet. Really good and diced Pablano peppers were a great addition. We will be back for sure.
I would give it a 4.5, service and food were both good. The food is plentiful and for a reasonable price. The coffee could use some upgrading for a breakfast spot. I will return for a full stack of pancakes.
Excellent spot for Evansville breakfast or lunch. Busy day but wait was only 10-15 minutes and whole enjoyed the food!!!

Great place to eat!! Good home style comfort food!!! If u like liver n onions this place knows how 2 cook it!! Our waiter was also fantastic!! Only downfall the little lady that seated us wasn't so great, she could've been more friendly and listened to our request to sit in a booth instead of telling us there wasn't any available...needless to say I say a booth in the back and we ended up moving from the table she sat us at!! And the bathroom could've been cleaner.
Took family here. Great breakfast. They were so busy that it took 45 mins to get food. But enjoyed the environment and my teens were great company. Definitely plan to return
We love Nellie’s! We’ve been coming here for years and everything we’ve tried on the menu has been great. We have good service when we come here, generous portions of food, and the prices are good, too. The outdoor seating is an added bonus that we’ve been enjoying lately.
