Barbely’s is a family owned and run restaurant. Down home family cooking. Food is absolutely delicious just like I’d have growing up. Their chicken and dumplings, fried chicken, and even their liver and onions are so good. Make sure you order dessert first. It might be gone by the time you are ready for it.

Amazing food. Warm and cozy. Food was great when we were there months ago. Hoping they make it thru this difficult time. Want to get my 92 year old mom over there for some food reminiscent of a time she would know and enjoy. The meringues are amazing. Never better apple dumplings!

Can't beat it for a home cooked meal on Maryland's eastern shore. Some of the best fried chicken I have eaten. The strawberry pie is a must! Janice and Bruce are down to earth people who you don't mind having dinner at their restaurant. My wife and I have at least one if not two meals here while we are camping on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. A true hidden gem in our travels.
