Stumbled upon this unassuming restaurant last week. Have eaten there twice since. Great food, friendly service & nostalgic environment. Great local spot. We came with family who had been dying to show us the spot. I loved the atmosphere, its full of art and tchotchkes from the decades it's been around, red leather booths, stained glass lamp shades, and a table only for chess players. We found Yesterday's Pub sort of by accident. We'll now be lifelong patrons. Absolutely wonderful food. Excellent service. We look forward to each time we can make it to Newark and enjoy a meal there!

Don't be scared off by the looks of this little hole in the wall. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Super friendly staff we will definitely be back.

Just tried Yesterday's Pub for the first time. Great little restaurant! Kay and Dave are wonderful! There's a lot to take in so add some time to your schedule. Highly recommend the Mudslide cocktail, potato skins appetizer, grilled grouper, and pork chops. We will definitely be back!

The pork chops were excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful. Everyone was kind and welcoming, and made my first visit feel very inviting. I will be coming back soon!
