They replaced the waitresses with 4 kiosks. No one helps to explain how it works either. Watched for several minutes 2 elderly folks struggle to use it with no help before I offered assistance. You have to order your condiments and pay for them at the kiosk as well just for them to tell you they don't have what you ordered or not bother putting them on the tray. No refund was offered. Was completely out of cups. Sandwiches were thrown together. Presentation was terrible. Don't even have the seasoning on the tables or available for use. Overall bad experience. We used to love this place before covid now it's terrible. May be a while before I try again. Come on Steak and Shake Do better. Be Better. 😞

Had to order everything from a kiosk even for dine in. Order onion Frisco melt sub onion rings for fries and a milkshake. Had 3 employees work a cool and 2 others. Are good was brought out to us no drinks no onion rings. When I went up was told they didn't have onion rings and that was it. I paid extra for the rings strike one. We didn't say anything then started eating my sandwich which didn't have the sauce or anything. Strike two. Now my wife's meal she asked for no lettuce guess what she got lettuce lol had to go back up for are milkshake and drink. Strike three and four. All I can say is I do everything but make the food ring up my order clean my table get my own drinks and they want paid 15 or more a hr. Won't be back

Pleasant dining experience and polite staff. First time at this particular location as well as first time ordering from kiosks with self-serve fountain drinks. Intelligent streamlining for staff to complete multiple orders and attend busy drive-thru simultaneously. Steak burgers always a hit and well made.

Out of everything. No notice. Found out halfway through them making our order. Guy told us that if they aren't bust, they'll bring our food to our table. We were the only ones there but had to retrieve our order, all at different times, from the counter where they left it. Snickers milkshake had 2-3 big chunks in bottom. Nothing else. Pretty disappointing, but the burgers were good.

Two burgers that use to at least be the same size as the bun. Not anymore. They seem to be using a McDonald's style bun now the patties are half the size of what they use to be but the price has not changed. I think it is time for this location to close its doors. You had a good run before covid but now worse than ever. Shakes don't even fill the cup. Quality has suffered but the staff is nice it's not their fault they are only doing what they are told to by management. I hope district management sees this review and the other recent reviews with the same complaints.

Hands down the worst steak and shake in existence. The place was open but nobody would answer the drive through. It looked abandoned. When you are lucky enough to get served the foods cold. Even when it’s not busy it takes forever. It says locally owned and operated on the side of the building. I’m just wondering how long it’ll take for the owner to turn the place around. I’ll drive to easton or polaris for good service.

We went around 10:00-10:30 and the drive through was closed. We could see that there were customers in the dining room so my husband went in to order a milkshake, he was told that they weren't making anymore shakes that night. I thought that that was in the name, maybe you should just call it "Steak".

Their straws taste like chemicals, fall apart before finishing a regular milkshake, and are way too thin for milkshakes. Paper straws can work, but these are genuinely the worst ones I've ever used. They'd be bad for regular soft drinks, but for milkshakes it's unacceptable.
They also give like 1/4 the amount of cheese sauce they should.
