Very nice little hole in wall restaurant. Was nothing fancy on inside however food was AMAZING. If in the area you have got to try this little hidden jewel out.

There was literally no seasoning on my food plain chicken and plain ground beef did not taste like Mexican food at all it was like eating a shredded chicken sandwich on a corn tortilla with lettuce and tomato it was pretty gross

Always fresh and so good!

I've always enjoyed La Paloma sopapias, but they were particularly delicious during this visit downtown. The owner also made a point to come out and visit with all of the diners - a nice touch during this time when people are actually encouraged to avoid one another.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE! I have been going since i was in high school. Every time my family comes into town we have to go. The food is great and the staff is always helpful with describing new items we want to try. Very family oriented. I think the restaurant on 21st has fresher food but the seating is limited.

The sopapias were very good. Unfortunately this location on the square in Newark, Ohio, is closing in September. They do have a second location in Heath.

Not real Mexican food. No seasonings and food is very plain. Atmosphere was also playing country music, not exactly a Mexican restaurant experience. Limited options as well, a lot of typical Mexican dishes missing. Pass.

Usually I complain if I have just had the worst Mexican food in my life but would not have known where to begin. From these other reviews maybe I ordered the absolute wrong thing or something. Never had chicken enchiladas that was just plain chicken put into an enchilada before. Sauce tasted like out of a can. Never brought a saucer to pour salsa into, was brought salsa in a shaker to squirt out but had to ask for chips, realized later charged $1 for a bowl of chips that I had to squirt out onto each chip. Rice bland and soggy. I don't see how other reviews are for the same place, unforgettably bad.
