It was nice atmosphere and clean restaurant for a fast food in this small town. It is good to stop by for lunch. The Gyro was great taste. Fast service and nice people. There are a lot of free parking spaces on the street. The city center square is near by, and the market square (opens only from May to October) also in walking distance. They are great places to visit after your big lunch at Skorpios.

We were looking for something different for lunch...
And we found it. This restaurant is really not much to look at but the food is really good. I would strongly recommend it. I had the extra large gyro with onion rings which I really enjoyed. The extra large gyro is really big - I can't imagine how big the 2xl gyro is or even the dumpster gyro but there was plenty of food. The onion rings were great. Wifie had the gyro salad with chicken which she thought was awesome. They have some lemon and mint water that they make the wifie really liked also.

I ordered a lamb gyro, and it was delicious. It was only my second visit, but they have great consistency with their cooking. Staff is pleasant and friendly. One gentlemen offered a sample of his hot sauce and it was great; very spicy. Had a chocolate cake, and tiramisu for dessert... spot on. Hush puppies were great too. My only gripe is that I prefer dill in my tzatziki not mint. Great food and people, certainly worth a stop.

This is about an hour away from us but we will def make the trip again just for it! Even if I tried to come up with any complaint ... I couldn't. It was really just perfect! Food was so fresh. Portion sizes were great! Baklava didn't taste store bought. Bring this to Columbus!

This is our two year old daughter's favorite restaurant! She always eats like a horse when we order from here. The gyros are fantastic and the service is very friendly and they get the orders out quickly. Highly recommended. 😊

First time, staff was super friendly, food was fabulous. My daughter is super picky and she literally ate every piece of her gyro (plain meat sauce and pita). Fresh food that is full of flavor.

This place is amazing. I remember when this restaurant used to be in a tiny little building, they were great then and now they are even better! Still located in beautiful downtown Newark, Skorpios is a great place to get amazing food and great service. The atmosphere is amazing inside the store. The staff is always super pleasant as well.

Everything was good. The nachos contents should have been sent in separate containers to keep the chips from getting soggy. However few places do this. The onion rings were some of the best I've had.

Hungry for an incredible gyro the size of your head with some crazy good fries and a bucket of cola? Then stop what you're doing and call these people and order some food. It's really that simple. You cannot beat Skorpios in flavor or value.

None better. OK so I had never had a gyro before eating one of theirs - - But since then Ive had several from other places and none of them come close to great taste. MUST be the sauce generous servings and just wish they had a dining area [drive thru or picnic tables] but we get the craving on a regular basis

Pretty darn good. The gyro was awesome. very filling. I also got the greek salad but wasn't able to eat it due to my huge gyro. Definitely will be back in the future

Hidden gem in Newark. Fantastic food, friendly people, great prices. East Main isn't exactly where you'd expect to find the best felafel of your life, but you'll be pleasantly surprised when you do. Get the Skorpios sauce!
