Bawarchi Biryani Point

For the price I would have expected larger portions. Mild was too spicy in general for my family (and we are not wimpy) so only two of the four of us really ate the food. Fried cauliflower was amazing but borderline too spicy. Chicken tikka was a nice texture and sauce with good heat. Naan was burned and dry (the kids usually favorite part). Tandori was also tasty but small amount. Dosa were soggy and sauces too hot. So with mixed reviews on food and poor value, we will not be trying again. The restaurant was also strangely and completely empty on a Friday night.

We were excited to try this place out. But it sure was the “perfect” way to end 2020. Just like the rest of the year it was terrible. It took them over 2 hours to make our tikka masala and naan. I know what you’re thinking.... that’s such a complicated order that 2 hours seems appropriate, right? When we finally got our food it wasn’t even hot. The naan was burnt. The tikka masala was supposed to be different spice levels yet after a quick taste test we realized that they were exactly the same. I was so excited to fulfill this pregnancy craving. Looks like I’ll be ending the year just like I spent most of it, disappointed.
