Pamela's Gourmet is one of the hidden gems and best restaurants and caterers in the Newark area. If you haven't tried, it's about now that you should be making the time to do so. My most recent visit, I had their buffalo burger. It was perfect.
What a wonderful burger I had in Pamela's today! It was today's special, and I'm happy to vouch for its specialness. It was big, juicy, and prepared just as I requested, and came with a side of jumbo french fries that were the perfect accompaniment. My wife (not a big meat eater) had the Cajun shrimp salad wrap, which I might also have ordered if the burger hadn't been calling my name, and enjoyed it immensely. Cheers to Pamela and the crew for giving us such great meals to choose from.
I think that Pamela’s Gourmet is the best place to enjoy lunch in Delaware. The food is always creative and expertly prepared. One of my favorite lunches is the shrimp salad plate. It comes with lots of gently spiced shrimp and arugula, banana bread and fresh fruit. It’s all delicious and the banana bread is the best I ever tasted. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. It’s a very cheerful place. The lunch specials are always varied. I have always enjoyed Pam’s Lunch Specials. They are reasonably priced and made with the freshest ingredients. I especially like her meatball and pasta dishes. I love this place!
What a delicious sandwich! Was very happy to see this restaurant still here after COVID what a nice place to get lunch. Great atmosphere and even better food, staff is friendly and the facility is clean. This place is easy to miss when driving by, but hard to forget once you have tried it. Thanks again!
Pam does a stellar job for me in catering my client lunches. She produces a delicious lunch at a fair price. Always timely and extremely well-presented. My client have taken notice that recent lunches have been a step up from the usual.
Her chicken cutlet sandwich with mozzarella is the must-try sandwich, my personal favorite. Her pies, assorted pastries, and baked goods are better than the local bakery. Entirely worth the two-mile drive from Main Street, Newark DE.
If you haven't tried Pam's Gourmet, you are missing out on one of the local gems of Newark!! Fresh, made to order lunch specials that put chain places to shame. Try the Chicken Cutlet sandwich with mozzarella cheese, but order early because they sell out quick!
Ordered the special today, Filet Mignon tostada salad,. OMG it was the best salad I've had in a long time. Their food is amazing and always fresh! Also ordered the BLT, the bacon is delcious and sooo good. We always enjoy our meals from Pamela's. Keep up the good work : )
