I truly enjoy this place, the food is great and the folks here treat you with so much respect. Its a place to get a nice bite to eat a savory Coffee(Galon) and a big bacon, egg & cheese sandwich. This is a dope place for teenage youth to come too for breakfast & lunch since East Side Highscool is right across the street. Def have to come pay a visit and try something out. Funny tidbit: Its a Portuguese spot and they actually make a mean Cuban Sandwich. LoL!!

When you walk in and see the tile on the wall, you'll know you're in the right place. Princesa Bakery is a fantastic and authentic Portuguese bakery, found on the side streets of the Ironbound District. They offer daily lunch specials as well as much-needed espresso (cafe) and homemade pastries and cakes. They carry a wide variety of sweets such as croissants, the elusive pastel de nata, bola de berlim, queque, pata de veado, jesuita, and more! Princesa is an excellent choice if you are looking for an alternative, more locally-owned, family feel than the industrial, over-looming Teixiera's of Newark.
