Review Little Purse - Newark

The food tastes good but the service is slow. I wouldn’t Little Purse Dumplings if you’re on a time crunch. I ordered a chicken and vegetable fried rice as well as a tofu and vegetable fried rice. I received two chicken and vegetable fried rice platters. It was replaced after about another 10 minutes.

To be honest the food is not too bad but it’s too expensive!! 5 dumplings for 13 dollars! I was simply attracted by the Chinese menu and the ordering pad, which is quite pandemic friendly. But I really regret having a meal here……

Vastly over priced "fast" food. Avoid if you have limited time there. Food in the same order for us arrived over a span of 30 minutes. Orders were mixed up several times, and we had to ask multiple times to get one of the items in our order - a grilled cheese sandwich with a Sprite - to be served when everyone else had already finished their meals.

Fraud merchant. I would give a 0 star if I can. Insanely high price for something that’s worth only 5% honestly. How could you use Chinese characters just to attract people but sell things that is nowhere close to what is on your display screen? Look at the fried rice. Not even close. Also, this little portion cost 20 bucks

I went to Poppy’s Bagels, which shares the space with Little Purse Dumplings but I’d oddly listed as “permanently closed” on Google. I specifically had a bacon egg and cheese with potatoes and orange juice, mg partner a Taylor ham egg and cheese. Being from Jersey our opinions on these things are high and Poppy’s didn’t disappoint. The costs are outrageous. That whole meal was $45. But it was needed before our early morning flight.

Decent food, decent service, high price. Very salty dumplings, drinks took 15-20 minutes and were expensive even by airport standards. Ribs were good flavor, wings tender. Better than the rating, but not by a ton.

What a terrible, extortionately expensive place to eat. Worked out to be $20 CAD (incl. tax & tips) for a plate of 5 very unappetizing dumplings. I’m dumbfounded at how they can get away with these prices.
