One word review : Disaster
We ordered Indochinese schz fried rice , mysore dosa , chicken biryani , pomfret , tea and can of coke and gulajamun
Indo chinese schz fried rice : This is just a slap in the name of indo chinese. This was served with peas ( mutter ) in it. Please stop ruining indo chinese food with peas in it.. they served it with a so called schz chutney which was tomato and water
Chicken biryani : it was a pulav with 2 chicken pieces , and low on salt
Pomfret was low on masala and low on salt as well
The dosa was edible. Although the chutney weren't fresh but the dosa one of the items which were edible.. samber was hot water with boiled daal..
Chai ( teA) : it was just boiled water with powdered tea and trust me I am not even exaggerating
Gulab jamun : although they tasted good , they were at least 2 days old and not hot. Just warmed up in the microwave oven I think ..
The only good thing about our food was the coke..
No wonder the restaurant was empty on a busy night
Please take these criticisms positively and improve..
Stay away as far as you can .
Trust me and stay away

My friends and I randomly came here and the food was honestly amazing. I got the spicy boneless chicken biryani and it was definitely a 10/10. My friends got the chicken vindaloo and lamb masala which they loved. The garlic naan was nice and soft with crispy edges. We’re not Indian so we’re unable to speak on the authenticity of the taste but the cooks and servers are Indian so I doubt the food isn’t also authentically Indian. The bowls may look a bit small from the pictures but the portions were extremely reasonable for the price. The three of us were able to share each dish equally. The service was also amazing.

I have been to masala café few times. The location is very close from nearby campus and workplace. If you are like me and like to dine in instead of take out or delivery, it's not worth it. As soon as you walk in, there is a strong smell throughout the restaurant. Food is alright; not the best but not the worse either. We ordered Schwan rice which tasted more like puval and the Manchurian that tasted more like Potatoes. The chai was more like it was made straight off the packets sold at any Indian store. On the other hand side, the service was good. They always have a friendly and welcoming staff at all times. All in all, I would recommend to stick to ordering South Indian food. If you want a proper dining, it is worth driving a little more to Jersey City instead.

Went there with my lovely lady today... We was craving Masala Dosa.. Never been to this place before.. Servers are nice, the meals were prepped very well. Food was delicious! I had Chicken 65 w/ plain Naan, 2 Masala Dosa, idly with the samba sauce.. Awesome! O and Chicken Samosa... Everything I ordered came out fresh and tasty.. Will go back again very soon with more people...

I order from here often though Uber eats and this place is amazing! You get chicken 65 + biryani combo for $20 which is such a great price, huge portions and delicious!! I also get the dosas here and it’s also large, tasty portions ,and fresh. Both my partner and I love this place and will continue ordering from here. Here in JC, we have lot of options and this place is a solid option!

Was visiting out of town and this was the nearest desi spot from where I could get bryani. Ordered two bryani and haka noodles. The chicken bryani was amazing and spicy. And the serving was really great. One pack was enough for two people.
Also packed the items very very nicely for my to go order.
They also offered me a free mango lassi! I loved their food and service.
