The Place

One of the best lunches I have ever had. I walked into "The Place" and was immediately greeted by a very friendly "Hello!" by Mckenzie the bartender. So I decided to have lunch at the bar and watch ESPN, The Golf Channel, MLB Hot Stove,and Good Morning Football all at the same time on the giant screen TVs that were just overhead. She asked me what I would like to drink. I am an avid beer lover and they had a vast selection of beers on draft. Plenty of IPAs, craft beers, imports and domestics. But I picked the BIG WAVE Golden Ale. It was ice cold and served in a chilly pint glass. Exxxcellent! Mckenzie offered me a menu and boy was I hungry this particular day. I chose the fried ravioli for an appetizer which was terrific. The marinara sauce was almost as good as my Moms, it might have been better but please don't tell her. Like I said I was really hungry so next I chose the French Dip. It was awesome! The roast beef was perfectly cooked.The sandwich also had bacon, swiss cheese and was on garlic toast. Mckenzie warned me that the french fries were extremely hot. Good thing because I always dive into the fries and probably would have burnt my mouth. I truely look forward toward my next visit to "The Place" and try other items on the menu. But I'm going to stick with the BIG WAVE Golden Ale. Kudos to "The Place"!
