Came in the late afternoon on Veterans Day - surprisingly cool and sunny. Though the address is in Downing Street, the coffee shop entrance is on 6 Ave... which makes it a great street patio to sip your coffee in the Village!! Jack's Stir Brew Coffee is a local NYC brand serving 100% Organic Coffee
Food was fantastic. Even when your finished it doesn’t feel like they are rushing you out the door for the next customer but once you are finished it is a case of pack up and leave.
The place is nice and cozy. However, I didn't like the espresso. Far from what I was expecting. something went very wrong along the process... Coffee was perhaps overexposed... too dark and burnt for my taste.
Love this place. So far my best experience visiting coffee shops with vegan/organic options. The coffee, organic vegan (gluten free options too!) muffins, and the whole atmosphere was quite and relaxing. Service was great. I'd come here again and again if I lived near. I highly recommend coming he
Went on a Thursday evening to read and have some coffee. There were like no people there and it was very cozy. I had a small Happy Jack (honey- cinnamon latte) for only 3.19. The quality was great and I’m definitely coming back for more! Wish they had a location in east queens 😭
I would recommend Stella Coffee (Cafe Latte with Organic Chocolate) .. Delicious..
Nice place, very warm cozy old New York lower east side vibe, lots of memories all on the walls.
