The Met's Costume Institute opened “About Time”: Fashion and Duration at the museum's Fifth Avenue location on 29 October – the original planned opening in May 2020 was postponed due to the COVID-19.
Rather than pop out for food we thought we'd give the Petrie Court restaurant a go as we've eaten in two of the other restaurants at the Met. The food was only okay though and nothing to write home about. The salmon I had was rather dry. Our waiter was very nice and the service was fast though. The

Lovely location with good views and exceptional service. The food is what you'd expect at The Met: outstanding.
Very long line, expensive, and with few choices. We primarily wanted a quick beverage break and it took an hour to get a soda. Iced tea wasn't even an option.

Saw that they had a selection of coffee/espresso drinks and asked if I could have an iced version of anything. The response was "we have no ice." So I get a hot coffee in the middle of summer and when I sit down the people next to me clearly have received iced drinks. Not to mention the ants crawlin
They did not offer cortdaos. Espresso suffices.
