This particular Van Leeuwen shop on West 10th has some of the best staff I’ve encountered. On a couple different occasions, I’ve had separate issues and they were taken care of timely and without any hesitation. I’m not vegan, but love the vegan cookie dough. It’s been one of my favorites for years. Highly recommended!

We came here to try a desert after dinner. Had an amazing experience because of a sweet welcome. The girl was so sweet and she made our experience extra special. We will definitely come back because of the amazing ice cream and more so amazing service. Thank you !!!

Good vegan selections, used reusable (vs disposable) spoons for samples and, does not rely on sugar to add flavor. The flavor of the vegan flavors is outstanding.
The only reason this ice cream shoppe doesn’t get five stars is because it’s not fully vegan / plant - based and because of the price (makes it inaccessible for many).
Accessible by public transport (plus a few block walk).

Customer service was stellar. I never been here before and the cashier allowed me time to decide. I tried a classic cookies and cream with the oreo crumble for crunch. Serving size was great for the price. Ice cream was a subtle sweet, not over powering like some big label ice cream. The shop was small but well kept. I'm glad I finally got a chance to go here and try the ice cream.

One the most incredible ice-creams to have in NYC. Very well-made, creamy, velvety, perfect level of hardness and temperature, whole ingredients that you can truly taste. Sweetness comes mostly from the ingredients instead of relying on sugar. My personal favorite is the pistachio ice-cream if you want the full experience.

Ice cream is always great. Had the pistachio this time. Liked that they had Covid-19 precautions in place masks and only allowing 1 group inside at a time since the store is so small.
