This has been one of my favorite dining experiences. Everything on the menu has wonderful depth of flavor that I search for in every meal. I’m not usually one to order the table bread, but I would definitely recommend doing so here. It came with a vanilla butter and chicken liver mousse that I just loved so much. The emu pie and duck duo were also excellent. The shrimp mac ‘n’ cheese could’ve been done without. I will definitely be coming back here!

This restaurant is excellent. The vibe is on the sophisticated side of casual, and the service is solid. The food is exceptional- creative, yet just familiar enough not to turn you off. Every course was prepared and presented perfectly. The dishes were exquisitely balanced, and the portions were perfect- always satiating, never too filling. We can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Pricier than most other spots in the area, but worth every penny.

It was my first time there and we ordered the prix fixe menu, which included 5 courses. I love the casual-fancy feeling of the restaurant. We got to try new things, like ostrich tartar and peppercorn-seared medium duck. Their sauces are on point and every bite of the fig cake with toffee sauce was heavenly. The server was the sweetest too!

Went last night and had a great experience! What a nice atmosphere and menu. Me & my party had the early bird menu with 4 courses, perfectly balance and super affordable for $35/ per person. Food was superb and service very friendly. Will definitely keep recommending to friends & family!

I was surprised how little options for entrees Mountain Bird had. Some of them were actually crossed out because by then they had sold out of those meals (even though we came at 8pm, a common dinner time). I had a seafood cassoulet and it was just okay. It wasn't bad, but I expected more from such a highly rated restaurant. I also ordered a dessert wine (I believe it was called Eschevia?), but only as the waitress was pouring the wine did she tell me that it's fancy wine so it's actually only half a portion for the price I saw on the menu, which was disappointing (the wine was very tasty). My mom ordered the crab croquettes and those were very good - very creamy and soft.
