Was very excited to try Il Pesce inside Eataly market today but was fairly disappointed. Calamari was very fresh, texture was great but overall tasted very bland and the batter used was not good quality considering how high quality the calamari itself was. Slight above average quality, and ok overall, but not particularly well executed and not particularly warranted by price ($33), walk in no reservation (6/29/22).
I pointed a $8 glass of wine and waiter brought a $16. He did this with others. Pasta was chewy. Disappointed in whole experience. Was not planning on a $50 mediocre lunch.
