Takahachi - New York City - Photo album

This Takahachi Restaurant location is always a busy eatery. It offers a casual, traditional Japanese vibes and standard comfort food menus with a variety of sushi rolls. Every item was reasonably-priced. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Some of the tastiest and most flavorful sushi I’ve had in a while. Portions are fantastic, and The ingredients are so fresh you can really taste every last flavor from every bite. Great list of drinks and sake, great service, and great vibes!
Great Japanese food. The sushi was very good, and my chicken teriyaki was wonderful, too.
Simple but decent selection of nice quality fish for a good value. It's small and a little cramped inside, best for small groups. Casual. Their outdoor dining area wasn't open when I went but it looked a bit run down out there.
Great Japanese restaurant with great service in Alphabet City!! Delicious chicken, sushi, soups, beer and sake!!
Perfect tempura, great prices, fresh everything. There’s so much volume everything is right from the start. Top picks? Miso black cod, soft shell crab. I’d have those all day everyday. Downside? Expect a wait for peak times. Easy solution, get there for the early bird , a great assortment different
Pretty average service and food esp for the price. Pork Katsu was wayyyy too deep fried and the specialty rolls only came with 5 pieces. Again for the price, too average.
Jack's Takahachi Sushi place is an OG in the East Village serving unpretentious and plentiful portions of sushi, sashimi and Chirashi. Very fresh and authentic Japanese Restaurant. Be back soon. #arigato! #kampai
