Very tasty. The place had lots of room for a late dinner. The food was great and the waiter pointed out some fun dishes to try to expand the usual set of options. They were all delicious.
HIGHLY Recommend ! ! You cannot get better Indian food than here anywhere in Manhattan. The portion sizes are good, the spices are very balanced and true value for money. The staff is very courteous and considerate. Avinash is amazing... The washrooms were spic and span. The atmosphere is nice an
Excellent food for the price. Tried lunch for 15.95 fixed price. You get an appetizer, a choice of entrees, and an option for a bread. Everything was great. Highly recommended
Our newest discovery is this Indian place, which we passed by but never walked in until today! Aahar offers lunch specials that are well proportioned, including freshly baked naans, and the real treat for me was the rosemary naan (never heard of it before). Besides the lunch specials, we ordered c
The chicken Tikka masala and garlic naan was amazing. The spices on the Tikka masala were perfect. The prices are pretty reasonable too. They also gave us free rice pudding for dessert which was a nice surprise! They also have vegetarian options on their menu, though we didn't get anything vegetari
This is the second time I've been here because the amount of food you get for the price makes it worth it. It's decent food at an affordable price that will leave you feeling satisfied. The staff have been super friendly and attentive to my needs both times I have visited I went for the pre-fix lun
Great hospitality and communication ethics. Food is exactly as expected very typical North Indian taste. They just need to serve onion Bhajiya a little hot.
We stopped here for lunch the restaurant was very busy lunch time. Service was quick the lamb seeks kebab was very average and tasted very meaty I didn't enjoy it. The veg samosa, shrimp curry and rice was tasty and we enjoyed it. Improve your lamb seeks kebab recipe.
I've had lunch on a few occasions at this restaurant and the food, service and atmosphere are always amazing. The staff pays attention to every detail. They'll ask you how you'd prefer the level of spiciness for your selected dish. The food is always fresh and flavorful. Each visit is always a pleas
Aahar is, by far, the best Indian food restaurant we have eaten at, anywhere. The food was incredible, fresh, cooked to perfection, and tasted SO good. The service by Peter, and the other staff, was excellent and everyone was so friendly and considerate. If you are ever in the area of Aahar in NYC,
The inside is absolutely beautiful, only to be followed up with food that was absolutely delicious! Everything was rich in big and bold flavors. I had the lamb that was tender and to die for. Avinash was an amazing host and made me feel like I’m at home eating with friends I’ve known for years. Trul
Avinash was amazing! The food was wonderful! Really great experience, will 100% come back again. They have different spicy limits so it caters to all which is awesome. They have a very large vegetarian menu as well. Fantastic all around.
This is just one of those hole-in-the-wall places that you just get lucky and FIND while out roaming the city. Service was teeny bit slow, however when the food is damn good, those things get pushed to the back of my mind. The SCALLOPS?! Yes please, I’ll take 70 more on the fly. The chicken was deli
I loved all the aspects of this restaurant that is the food, taste, service and atmosphere. I will remember this restaurant for all my next NYC visits!✅
Wonderful way to end the night in Manhattan! The experience started even before the food was served, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and taken to the table, and right from the get-go they were so very caring and kind. Not only that, but they were also extremely intentional - paying attention to
Great location . It was our first time going to this location. The staff was very nice. They showed us the the specials of the day . The portions were filling and the prices are reasonable. I will be back for more
A fantastic downtown restaurant has lot of choices for South Asian dishes. The place feels just like a regular restaurant you'd expect. The staff there is really nice too!
Food taste really yummy , cool environment, peaceful place for couples dinner. Overall everything good.. Foods price costs little expensive then queens but it’s okay because it’s in Manhattan..
My partner and I went to this place for lunch. The ambience was ok but the service was good. They have indian beers too. We ordered paneer tikka masala and garlic naan ( one of the best naans served) and for starters we ordered Dahi batata puri. Overall a good place to try out indian dishes, would r
