We stopped here to have dinner before a show at the Beacon. We had a reservation but honestly we didn't need it on a Wednesday night. We shared the appetizer sampler which was presented beautifully and tasted just as good. We also shared a noodle pish with BBQ pork and shrimp. It was quite enjoyable. It was plenty of food for the both of us. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. We'll be back.

Loved the dining experience here, great food and wine. The chicken satay was delicious! I ordered the fish, it was nicely prepared and sumptuous!

Good food, decent price. Lunch time is an even better deal. Tends to get crowded for dinner. Takeout is also great.

If you like authentic Thai cuisine at a more than fair price- this is your place!
The food was awesome and not overpriced. Best Phad Thai I I have had outside of Thailand.
Staff was friendly, going round, filling up the free water all the time.
Atmosphere and interior are welcoming and cozy. Even when the place got busy, it did not get too loud, and you could still comfortably have a conversation.
We loved this place and if I am ever in NY again, it is definitely on the list.

Food is amazing. Loved the flat noodles with crispy duck. Atmosphere could be better.

Good food, good portion sizes, loud, efficient but not spectacular service. My biggest issue is it was so loud that it made conversation challenging. We were there on a busy Friday night so perhaps mid-week would be better.
We had the lettuce cups and spring rolls for starters, which were both okay. The shrimp Pad Thai was very good with a fair amount of shrimp, good flavor and a decent portion size. The chicken curry was really tasty as well and not too spicy. The rice and vegetables was good, again very large portion.
The cocktails were creative and strong.
Definitely worth going.

It was a very pleasant experience. Thai 72 has now matched my other favorite upper west side Thai restaurant, Sala Thai. One of my favorite dishes, grilled/ BBQ chicken with crispy skin with a side of sticky rice, was matched and quality. Although the prices were about the same. Now. I have a second place I'm more than happy to go to. We also started off with the crispy puffs, a combination of potato and chicken wrapped in a pastry. Also delicious. The fresh Brewed green tea is also a pleasant way to start the meal

Great place to grab dinner if you’re in the area! They were able to fit us in last minute, I got the pineapple friend rice which was flavored great and had just the right amount of sweetness. Definitely a repeat spot

Authentic Thai food. Delicious, fast service. A good neighborhood Thai restaurant attracts regular customers.
