Fantastic food! We loved the hummus, the mallawach, burekas, and the zahtar pita! The staff was very friendly and courteous, and the ambiance was beautiful!
The food was pretty good not mindblowing, they asked us a bit too often how everything was. Not their fault, but when other restaurants do it better this place was more 4 star than 5. Food came reasonably quick.
This place was delicious! Went here to celebrate my Fiancé's birthday! We had so many good things to eat. We started our meal with the hummus, followed by the mushroom, charred eggplant, and beet small plates, and finished with the lamb shank and the kubeh with chicken broth. I would say the flavo
Everyone needs to try this place! Samantha, our host, curated our meal at my request and it was THE BOMB! We loved every dish she brought to us! Samantha served with pride, knowing that every dish brought to us would be a new, pleasing, flavor sensation. Great service and food.
Genuinely exceptional service!!! We did the prefix menu for Halloween with a view of the parade, and it was phenomenal.
Excellent atmosphere. Warm service and GREAT FOOD. We came in for brunch and were delighted by the excellent coffee, food and atmosphere. Loved the shakshuka. The cauliflower was amazing. Will definitely be back
Amazing ambience and decor which transport you with an insane array of cocktails with middle eastern themes and spices which most people I went out with enjoyed. Most of the food was quite good but a few things like the Zucchini pasta and charred eggplant were a bit bland and needed S&P. Service was
The Mallawach (Yemeni flaky bread stuffed with eggs / herby sauce) is the best brunch item in New York. Subtle, satisfying, lip-smackin good. Lovely sidewalk seating outdoors!
Food is pretty good with lots of vegetarian and some vegan options. I really like the burekas but wish it is crispier. The haloumi cheese is a little too sweet from the honey on its own, but goes well with the pita and hummus. We try 2 different pitas, and the zahtar one is fluffier and has more se
Great Israeli cuisine. The chicken shawarma is pan fried but still tatse great together with the amba and tahini (wish there was more of both!). The kubeh itself is made with pulled beef and not ground beef which kubeh is usually filled with. The chared eggplant dish was very good.
Kubeh in West Village serves middle eastern fare and probably one of the best restaurants that we went to for winter restaurant week 2022. They truly outdid themselves and blew us away! For restaurant week they offer a few different dining options. We chose the $39 pre fixe that came with an appeti
Came here for a weekday dinner. Pretty crowded both inside and outside. Shared the minced beef meatballs (Kufta) as an appetizer and ordered schnitzel and chicken shrawma as mains. The volume was okay, not too big. Very fresh ingredients, dim light date night atmosphere. Waiters are friendly and
Everything was delicious and promptly delivered by a friendly and helpful staff. Digging deep to find something that can be approved upon, all I can think of is that the wine pour was a little light. I had the Montepulciano, which was tasty, and I appreciate their varied selection of wines by the gl
This was a hungry boi certified meal. V yummy. The shakshuka was a biiit underwhelming, but otherwise this was an excellent brunch spot. Highly recommend the hummus (which was topped with rich and delicious tahini) and the golden beets/feta spread (one of the best apps I’ve had in a long time). Also
We came here for Restaurant Week and it was a good decision. We had the kufta - very well balanced mint-heavy seasoning in a lamb meatball that was fried to almost the right amount of tenderness, and decent potatoes, almost patatas bravas style; the lamb shank with sour cherries - fantastically tend
Yum!!! The Kiki drink is freaking delicious. It tastes like fresh watermelon juice and lime. I will order muhammara anywhere if it’s on the menu. Theirs is super smooth and the pita is fluffy and soft. I got the pea kibbeh and warm cauliflower for my main and it didn’t disappoint either. The caulifl
