Agora Turkish Restaurant - New York City - Photo album

I ordered take out. I was a bit scared it may be overpriced and no good at all, but glad I was extremely wrong! I got the Doner Kebab (Gyro), which was delicious and gets a 9/10 from me. Food was plentiful and glad my Kebab came with rice (wish it was added to the description so I didn’t order a sid
I recommend having Manti here. It was the best I had in NYC. Reasonable prices for the food and location 👍🏼 My only complaint is the tables are very close to each other and it gets too loud in there. We were only 2 people and it was hard to focus on the good food.
Had a great dinner here with my family. Mezze platter, grape leaves, calamari to start. All great. Izkender kabob and chicken shish also very good. Seating inside and outside was all very nice.
I live in this neighborhood, this is the best food in the city, very clean and tasty! The service is the best! Food like home!!! You can’t find food like this anymore! I travel the world and i’m very picky on food im so glad this in my neighborhood, I recommend all the menu!! I wish I’ll know about
I really loved it here!❤️ I went here for brunch with my best friends. This place has a lovely vintage aesthetic! I absolutely love the food, the plating, the staff and the service! I'd never had Turkish food before, and it was fantastic.🤤
The food was phenomenal. We ordered the mixed grill and borek. The food was perfectly cooked, and the portions are large so price is reasonable. Service was great too, very kind, quick, and service oriented. The space feels a bit crammed with all the tables but other than that, a wonderful spot serv
An authentic Turkish spot with delicious dishes. We started with babagnoush dip and the warm bread it was absolutely divine. The mains were chicken and lamb adana kebabs, which were also delicious. They just needed a little more flavor or spice to it. The white dipping sauce was much needed, but th
I would absolutely recommend this delicious Turkish Restaurant. Came here with friends and the first thing we noticed upon entering was the welcoming smile and warm greeting we received from the staff. The overall ambiance is very cozy and we felt right at home. Service is extremely fast and dinner
Food 4.4 Vibes 3.9 Service 4.8 Overall 4.5 This is a cute date spot. Went on a first date and enjoyed my meal. Their strength is in the simplicity. The rice w my kebab was absolutely bangin. And I don’t even like rice like that!
I don’t know what the big fuss is about the food… I have been here for three nights in a row. Everything was perfect. Food is delicious, service amazing and everyone is friendly. It has a “family” atmosphere instead of being a restaurant. I will come again for sure.
We have been a few times and each visit is spectacular. This hidden gem on the UES offers a cozy, intimate feel. The food is made with fresh ingredients, boasts delicious flavors, and is thoughtfully done with great portion sizes. We love the sigara borek appetizer and the hummus is smooth and flavo
We really like Turkish food, it spiced with special flavors and with an interesting combinations of different ingredients. In Agora we found all the ingredients of fine Turkish food. We enjoyed every dish we ordered and got a full value for money. warmly recommended.
The Jasmin rice was heaven. I love turkish food.
An exceptional dining experience. The standout grape leaves contained a delightful cous cous with a uniquely sweet spice. The red lentil soup was magnificently herbaceous and light. The lamb meatball wrap was superbly seasoned, albeit somewhat dry, and could’ve benefited from tzaziki or tahini dress
We went yesterday with a Turkish friend, we shared the mixed appetizers, lamb balls, feta cheese sticks and a kebab. We expected more flavor, but it wasn’t bad. In my opinion the owner kept looking at our table too much and standing too close.I like good service but not this much.
You must visit this restaurant if you are in a neighborhood me and my friend love the ambience of the place it has so many beautiful paintings hanging on the walls it really transports you to turkey. Our server Buro and his lovely wife were just so hospitable so nice. We had some Turkish coffee and
