Half King - New York City - Photo album

Went for Sunday brunch. A great atmosphere with a lovely patio. The inside is large and can accommodate groups. A little pricy if you don't want to drink, but reasonable if you get the specials that come with a Mimosa or Cesar. The food is very good though there are very few Gluten-free choices.
Another great bar in Chelsea that is literally steps from the high line. The daytime bartenders are amazing! Crowd is mainly artists (many galleries nearby) and tourists. Good selection of on tap bar and the food is on point. UPDATE! THE BAR HAS CLOSED. WAS GOOD WHILE IT LASTED
So - first we had nachos which were pretty much what I'd expect to get at the ballpark while attending a game. However, the salads (main meal) came out next, and they were outstanding. I had the chopped Kale salad, and I would actually go out of my way to have it again. It was THAT good. Plus, th
Came here on a Tuesday night around 9pm with a group of 6 and was able to find a table. It was quite lively for a weeknight, and some brave souls were even out on the patio despite the rather chilly conditions (but I'm speaking as a visiting Californian so take that how you will). We just ordered a
I was a bit conflicted on this one. On one hand, the drinks were pretty good and pretty decently priced. When we ordered some jalapeno poppers, we waited well over an hour until we got them, but in the meantime we got a bunch of free drinks. So, depends on what you're looking for! I can't complain,
I stuck my head in here after walking along the Highline for an hour. Glad i did. Amazing craft ale selection and from what I was told they do a breakfast burrito that is HUGE! The guy behind the bar was polite and nice to chat to.
Just OK. Burger wasn't the best but it wasn't bad. The bun was kinda soft and crumbly, which I'm not a huge fan on. Beer was good but a little flat. Not a long wait, service was passable but not special. Just OK.
Regular average bar. It's nice but there's nothing that really sets it apart from the other generic dive bars except that it's cleaner. Staff are nice. Drinks are more expensive than the usual bar. Food is really delicious but pretty expensive.
I always liked this place. Once in a while you will get a special you like as well. Drinks are good. Also it is a very convenient location off of the high line. Great place to meet friends and hang out.
We sat in the small garden in the back with a view of the High Line above. The staff let us sit around sipping our beers without being hassled. Eventually we got hungry enough to order the HUGE chicken and waffles dish, which I would highly recommend.
