Uncle Gussy's - New York City - Photo album

Best quality food truck in New York City. I would eat here every day if I could. Chicken was perfectly marinated and grilled. Greek salad was fresh, and they put enough good quality feta and the better Greek olives in it. The tzatziki sauce was exactly the way it should be with a bit of garlic
I love this place. I usually get chicken breast over fries which comes with a little salad and pita. I add sauteed onions, and hot sauce with tzatziki. Hot sauce is spicy enough but if you aren't into heat don't get it. Also, they put a liberal amount of sauce on the food so if you don't like that a
Fast Clean Delicious. This may be the best food truck in the city.
looking for Greek & Mediterranean food options in Midtown East? Uncle Gussy's blue truck has you covered. the big food truck is parked at 51st and Park Avenue from 10 am to 3 pm --not 4 pm as listed on the truck's website and elsewhere...I learned this hard way by showing up between 3-4 pm 4X and no
I got the combo platter and it was fresh, hot and delicious. It’s pricey for a food truck but the food is excellent so it’s worthy. I’ve had the regular gyro and that was my least favorite because of the portion for your money. The Combo Platter with chicken and gyro meat accompanied with rice and s
Excellent service. I walked up to a friendly smile and less than 5 mins later had meals for three, that ended with leftovers. Amazing gyros, easy and affordable as well.
This is a hard spot to beat! Food quality, Customer Service and the energy here are unmatched. I have been going here for a while now and every single meal has been outstanding. Thank you Uncle Gussy!
$20 for two of us to eat a NY phenomenal street vendor food truck. “Eat where the locals eat.” And we did. Took lunch over to the lobby of nearby high rise and ate in the warmth. Wife and I both had the gyro lamb/beef combo with the works. The spicy sauce is tasty and has a good kick. Tzatziki sauce
SOo, caught Uncle Gussy's on a very light foot traffic day (last time the line was around the corner and extending up Park Ave). What immediately impressed me was the large and very clear informational sign, instructing guests on what and how to order! Ordered their biggest meal, the Hercules, since
A little greasy. For the area, different taste from all the regulars. Grab take out and eat in a near by public park. Line is long but moves quickly. Cash only!
I got the chicken with rice and the seasoned fries. It was really tasty; specially the fries. Go early if you want lamb. They go through it pretty fast.
This is a food truck located on Park Avenue in the low 50s. The food is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. We always get a gyro with red onions, Lettuce and sauce on the side. The gyro is HUGE. It's about $10 and is very fresh. The staff is so friendly and personable. My brother told me about the spot and my brother i
Simply the best food truck in the city. Used to work in midtown for years and would take a little walk to the friendliest guys serving you the most delicious lunch. Returned today (long overdue) with my car parked right in front. Did not disappoint 👍🏽👍🏽
General note as many people have said there is definitely a line if you go during lunch time. I waited about 20 minutes when i went around 1pm. Once I got to the counter i ordered my Gyro platter with the works. It only took about a minute to get my food which was quite refreshing after waiting in l
Delicious Greek salad with chicken! I ordered online and avoided that crazy line on Park Avenue. I just walked up to the front and told them I ordered online. Very efficient, was ready in 15 minutes of my ordering online. I will be back, looking forward to it!
Food truck , reasonable price by Manhattan standards . Taste was great .. be ready to wait in a queue at peak lunch time .. service was too quick though compensated for wait time .. try chicken gyro 😀
One of the best Greek places in all of NYC. Located at the corner of 51st and park av...the food is just delicious. I usually get the pork sausage or pork souvlaki Hercules which is about $16 but definitely worth the price.
One of my favorite places for lunch in midtown east. The owner, Nick, is a really nice guy and cares about his customers. Always a line down the block, but it moves very quickly. Once you put your order in, your food comes out in less than a minute.
