Finally tried this spot after being on my list for months! Ordered the Spicy Salmon Tartare, Spanish Octopus and Garlic Shrimp bowls. Despite the place being completely full we were well attended. One dish was a bit delayed and ended up a bit over cooked but the server was kind enough to remove it f
This modern Hawaiian restaurant is another spot that looks super low-key, but is an absolute gem! They elevated a lot of comfort foods in a delightful way. The scallop musubi, short rib, and noodles were definitely my favorites! They also have a very very extensive wine list, so it's the perfect spo
One of the best dinners I’ve ever had in my entire life. Both the service and the food were absolutely OUTSTANDING. Boyfriend & I came during restaurant week - we got the salmon crispy poke appetizer, the salmon entree, the pork chop entree, and the chocolate haupia sundae. Everything was so perfec
Went for restaurant week, Food was very good. The pineapples were very fresh and sweet. The garlic shrimp sauce was soooo good. Shrimp was nice and tender as well. The pork katsu was very good, nice and crispy, but a little towards the bland side. Dipping sauce more than made up for it though. It g
This place only gets five stars because the desserts were out of this world. The tuna tartare was really yummy but I don’t think it’s worth the price. The chicken loco moco was okay. It was a little boring flavor wise. The desserts, however, were out of this world!!! I would go back to noreetuh just

Highly recommend getting 1-2 musubi to start. Loved their spicy spam and mapo tofu. Kimchi turnip cake is really tasty too, but it is salty. Salmon crispy rice poke is really good but to note — not your normal “poke”. It’s more like an appetizer. For main - kimchi fried rice and garlic shrimp bowl
Came here for restaurant week. Food was pretty good. Hawaiian flavors simply prepared. NYC doesn’t have too much Hawaiian food, so this was a treat, but food is not too special. Maybe this was just restaurant week rush, but don’t know if I’d come here again. Definitely nice to try.
Dined here on a Sunday evening. I didn’t want to walk in, so I called ahead to see if they had any reservations available for 3 that night, and they were able to take us within 30 mins. Perfect! I’m glad we called ahead because it’s really small inside. For appetizers we ordered the galbi musubi, s
