I rarely/never give places 5 stars, but baby, this place is amazing! The food was soooo good. I had the soup and a shrimp salad. But I also got to taste my friends plates. They had steak, lamb and fried chicken. It was alll VERY GOOD. The ambiance was top notch. We got to dance with the person putting on the amazing show. I could go on all day... I would come back here again and again.
I accidently ran into this place. I have been in the neighborhood for 20 years and never knew of this place. The decor was beautiful and jazz looking. Service was wonderful and the food was great. They even had a comedy show available the night I was there. I simply sat at the bar.
Went again the following week to imtroduce my friend to this place for drink and food. She loved it.
First time visit for a holiday gathering in the private room. Fantastic evening. Everything was great! The food was absolutely delicious. The "Jack Punch" was the best!! 🍹 The calamari was delicious, but needed a pinch of salt.
I love a good steakhouse and Harlem's The Cecil is an affordable entry in this arena. We ordered the Lamb Dibi and Porterhouse entrees, they were well seasoned but the Porterhouse was overcooked and the lamb was oversalted (and I like salty foods). Still very good for the price point.
The entertainment rivals the fare here, there is a live DJ creating an almost party like atmosphere and a belly dancer that performs; it's a great time to be had on a Saturday night!
Oh man! What a Saturday to remember. Prices are not bad. Great customer service and good live entertainment. We go on Saturday nights. There are two band sets. The food is outstanding!
A co-worker took me to Cecil’s, I am surprised I’ve never heard of it before especially since I’m usually in the area. Upon arriving to the restaurant, we were greeted by the staff. The food was very delicious, I ordered the chicken parmigiana which was huge serving. I couldn’t finish it all so I end up taking the remainder of it home. I also had the beef and chicken empanadas which were absolutely delicious. I tasted the filet mignon for a friend’s plate which was also good. Oh, and the wings were also delicious. The DJ was awesome he kept the vibe going. There was also a live band that performed. There was an option to dine indoors or outdoors. The décor in and around the restaurant was also beautiful. This location is accessible via public transportation. I would definitely be back and I recommend this restaurant, give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
Celebrated a birthday and the entire staff were GREAT!!!! Allowed us to wait at the bar & have drinks before seating (6). Food was very good. Had a couple of the rum punch drinks and after dinner, the staff decorated the cake we bought with us with candles and writing. Totally unexpected but much appreciated. Luv coming to Harlem for a night out and this spot won't disappoint. Live music was a surprise. They advertise their entertainment and weekly themes. Highly recommend
Came here for a work event. The staff are very friendly and kind. The food was spot on. The drinks are pretty good. My first drink was a little weak I advised the bartender the drink he made was awesome. I will definitely go back

Coming in and entering the bar area, I was the 1st of a group to dine for Saturday brunch. They had the World cup soccer game playing so it took my attention for a while. We were also greeted by Rosa who was very welcoming. It's only when we were all there and they sat us down is when I met our server Awilda. She is such an asset here. She is the epitome of customer centric service. She is friendly already and she knows the menu very well. She made both the suggestions for drinks and food. Both were on point. She is ready to please the customers of this establishment. Even though she had several tables, she was consistently on top of her tables. She constantly checks in to make sure everything is going well.
The other guy is from Senegal, I think he said Antoni. Even while I was waiting at the bar area, he was engaging and friendly. He also was paying attention to the tables making sure things were cleared. It was truly a nice experience and definitely thanks to Awilda for her dedication to the restaurant.
We had the Argentina empanadas which were yummy. I had the penne alla vodka. One friend had the half roasted chicken, the other friend had the chicken Alfredo. Everything was great. The food the drinks. The beautiful restaurant. Nice for dinner with the boo. Or hanging out with friends. Great staff. Very attentive. Yes go visit you will not be dissappointed.
The service was attentive, ambiance great and comfortable. Good was the best I've tasted. Would recommend the Full Cecil tasting menu...it's literally everything cooked on the menu. Huge shared portions. Tuna and fish dishes excellent, lamb ribs tender...even the burger was better than the average.....
There was a live DJ, atmosphere was very inviting, drinks was good and food was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. I have a friend went it comes to her food she very particular and she said what she ordered was very good. And she'll visit again. We all will. We took a friend who came from Arizona for a birthday and she had a great time. I'll recommend The Cecil Steakhouse to anyone

We made going to Cecil Steakhouse and adventure. To get there we walked all the way through Central Park into Harlem. Once there, Cecil Steakhouse was just a couple blocks from the park.
From opening the door, we could tell this was going to be a good experience. The music was lively and the greeting we received was genuine hospitality. We decided to sit at the bar and we worked out way through the cocktail list and appetizer menu. Gosh darn, everything was delicious. Can't wait to come back again, next time for their Sunday brunch. Highly recommend Cecil Steakhouse!
Man great location great atmosphere. My family took me here has a surprise birthday celebration and the place was great. Food was beyond good and the drinks are great too. The steak I had was cooked to perfection.
Absolutely amazing. Food, drinks and entertainment and music was fantastic!!!! Staff was energetic, friendly and just over all outstanding!!!! It’s Valentine’s night and I’m so happy to be here!!!!!! This place was a beautiful experience!!!!
A lot of fun. The food was good. Everyone was having a great time. There was less of a show because it was Oscar night but it was very enjoyable. Recommended if you don't want to hear anything :)
